I doubt annihilated is the appropriate term since they played Michigan State who are notorious for self destructing on their own. I'm sure MSU handed the game on a silver platter and gave up the fight.

I'm just happy Michigan recovered so nicely after last year's embarrassing season.

No, not really. Surprisigly MSU didn't self destruct this time like ND. They were just outplayed by a better team. I think they had less than 200 total yards. They had players out if I can remember.
