my dad just got fired from his job as childrens pastor at our ex-church.
just because he and my ex-pastor did'nt get along very well.
and knowing my dad he's probaly not even going to let me go to that church anymore, thats the only church i have gone to my entire life and all my freinds are their, there is no smilie able to express how i feel right now its mixed between furious, anger, and depression

This is a tough one Josh and it breaks my heart for you...I wish these things did not happen in churches, but they do. Try to let the hurt and pain out before the Lord...maybe also, at the right time...talk to your dad...these things hurt the adults too...the whole church body. It is an opportunity for you to grow in grace and wisdom and certainly to put down roots deeper into your walk with the Lord...

Father I lift this young man up to You, I pray he will not be wounded beyond hope. Guard his heart from bitterness and help him find peace in You and Your sovereignty.

me and paw just talked he's still going to let me go to youth and their just going to a diff church in town, its not the church that was his problom it was the senior pastor. (in the words of my dad not me): he has a slightly high ego and does not liek it when people stand against what he says and my dad has some very strong objections on some of the things he teaches so thats why he got fired.

now our youth pastor is right on in what he teaches so my dad had no probloms with it

Praying that the Lord will give your dad another job that is right according to the Lord's plan and that you will continue to go to church and that both you and your family will lean on the Lord for support and that all of you can find the courage to tell the pastor that what he is doing is wrong and that they all need to mend fences and put aside their differences. Letting the Lord have His way with you, amen!!

Hey Josh, I'm sorry to hear what happened. I hope you can support your father though. It is of course not good for him to hold a grudge, but if he got fired for no good reason, maybe looing into other churches is a good idea. So, try to be there for your pa. I'll pray for ya though buddy, I hope you can keep your church friends, or work something out that you like.

Praying for you, buddy! I'm glad your father is allowing you to still go there. I pray for him to find a new job. Things happen for a reason...so maybe he was supposed to get out of there and get to a new and even BETTER place for him to minister! AMEN!
