  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You are spot on ........ great memory ...
... From Isle of Man.

Manx Loaghtan

Also known by: Manx Loghtan
The Manx Loaghtan is found on the Isle of Man off the coast of Great Britain. It is of the Northern Short-tailed type, similar to the Hebridean. The Manx Loaghtan is descended from the primitive sheep once found throughout Scotland and the coastal islands of Britain. The word Loaghtan comes from lugh dhoan which means mouse-brown. This has become the established colour in the Isle of Man although they were formerly found in white and black also. The breed is rare. It is small, with no wool on the face or legs. The face and the legs are a dark brown colour Manx Loaghtan are horned with four horns being preferred but individuals are also found with two
or six horns.

This is absolutely the best cyggy!!!

This is so nice of you XOXLOLXOX!!! How cool!

I have Welsh ancestry, (as well as some of the watermen here from the islands on the Chesapeake Bay here---these men are BIG BIG MEN) My grandmother would tell me stories about Lord Snowdon---I didn't know there was a mountain named Snowdon too.?... These Welsh people have some unbelievable charisma...its funny how subtle it is...

About the pointy things...cyggy.....why the cool prism in your avatar???? Is there any science or art to it?

...Isn't Cambridge University a world reknown University for the sciences? My grandfather got one of the hardest in the world to get Geology Degree from Cambridge....I have to check the man who discovered Iris Recognition Technology ---Isn't John Daugman from Cambridge? He made infinitismal bucks for his discoveries and math theories about the light in the eyes...

Hi freespirit2001 , interesting how you have Welsh ancestry , I didn't stay in Wales long enough to learn the language .My Sister did , she went to school in North Wales .My oldest brother my sister and myself were born in North wales. My Mother has gone back to live there and My Uncle and his family live there too.
My wife has climbed Mount Snowdon , I haven't but we did go through Llanberis Pass about two years ago and that was awesome , it just looked so massive winding and prehistoric , you half expected a dinosaur to appear.
