Hi freespirit2001 , interesting how you have Welsh ancestry , I didn't stay in Wales long enough to learn the language .My Sister did , she went to school in North Wales .My oldest brother my sister and myself were born in North wales. My Mother has gone back to live there and My Uncle and his family live there too.
My wife has climbed Mount Snowdon , I haven't but we did go through Llanberis Pass about two years ago and that was awesome , it just looked so massive winding and prehistoric , you half expected a dinosaur to appear.

Hi there joyshirley
Yes I would love to travel , I would like to go to places unusual , perhaps China , India , Russia .

I also want to go to Germany one day .

I would like to visit your country too , so watch out!

I have only been abroad once , to Canada , and I loved that place .... the land of RUSH , I may have mentioned that .

How about you ?

Greetings Cygnus

Yes, I would love to travel too, Cygnus. If I could visit only one country, it would be England. My Mum and I would love to hire a car over there and just do our own thing, visiting tourist spots as well as out-of-the-way villages and towns. Scotland beckons too, as I have forbears from there, and from the Isle of Man. :)

Switzerland would be the main country in Europe which I would dearly love to visit. Oh, and I mustn't forget Norway either.......

PS New Zealand waits to welcome you with much aroha :)

Hello, Cygnus :)

Here are two questions for you. :D

My kids were wondering why we have decorated Christmas trees. Is there a connection to the birth of Jesus, or not? I said I'd ask you.............. :D

And my question is.............given the technological advances witnessed by someone like my great grandmother, who lived from 1884 to 1974, what do you think we will see in that area within the next 50 years? Flying cars, maybe? or trips to Mars? What do you reckon? ;) ^_^

Since you were so good at my last question, I have another one for ya~!When people say, "I’m so tired it's not even funny" or "my head hurts so much it's not even funny", why would it even be funny in the first place? :D
It's irony ..... like my signature

"it doesn't pay to be morbid ...... except at funerals ...."

meaning , it's great fun larking about and having fun , but perhaps best not done at a funeral.....

see ;)

Hello, Cygnus :)

What would you suggest for when you wake in the middle of the night, discover that everyone else is fast asleep, yet you're so thoroughly awake that going back to sleep seems impossible for the moment? :D

PS Aren't you going to answer my question about technological advances that may take place in the next 50 years? :p

PPS My kids were thrilled with your onto-it answer re origins of decorated Christmas trees.
