You are correct that Christ chose Zion for his habitation. But there is not one hint in the New Testament of Christ returning to earth at any time; so you must be misinterpreting the Old Testament.

This is Mount [Zion] Sion, home of the Church, which is in heaven where Christ's throne is:

"But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant . . ." -- Heb 12:22-24

"And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left." -- 1Kin 22:19

I am still unsure why you posted these verses; but are you aware of this one?

"One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever." -- Ecc 1:4

That not only says the earth will be here forever, but that there will always be generations coming and going. That complements other verses that indicate the same thing:

"[The Lord] Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever." -- Ps 104:5

"For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else." -- Isa 45:18

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." -- Jn 3:17

"And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world." -- Jn 12:47

"Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." -- Eph 3:21

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." -- Rev 11:15

I have heard modern mega-preachers, like John Hagee, make such interpretations. But I cannot understand why anyone would believe them. Zechariah is symbolic prophecy, and can only be understood in the context of the New Testament, as Jesus, Peter and Paul tried to warn us (Matt 13:17, Romans 16:25, and 1 Peter 1:10).

This is the theme of the last four chapters of Zechariah:

Chapter 11: Betrayal of Christ
Chapter 12: Crucifixion of Christ
Chapter 13: Scattering of Disciples
Chapter 14: The day of Pentecost

Let's analyze New Testament fulfillment in each of the last four chapters.

In Zechariah 11:12-13 there is an unmistakable reference to Judas and the thirty pieces of silver:

"And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord. " (Zec 11:12-13 KJV)

That was fulfilled in Matthew 27:3-7.

The most obvious reference in chapter 12 is verse 10, which prophesies the piercing of Jesus by the Roman soldier during His crucifixion:

"And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." (Zec 12:10 KJV)

The fulfillment is written in John 19:34. The underlined word "me" should leave no doubt who was being pierced.

Now to chapter 13:

"Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones." (Zec 13:7 KJV)

That was fulfilled when Jesus was crucified, as he explained in Matthew 26:31 and Mark 14:27.

Next, in chapter 14, we see the day of Pentecost:

"And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be." (Zech 14:8)

The terminology, "living waters", is the same terminology that Jesus used when prophesying the day of Pentecost:

"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)" -- Jn 7:37-39

My point is, your "literal" interpretation of Zechariah 14:4 is dubious, at best.

I should have worded my question differently, as follows:

Would you please explain what you mean? I have never read the terms "law saints" or "grace saints". What are you referring to?

Why are you posting those other verse? Are you trying to make a point, and if so, what?

Also, where does it say the "dead sea" will be healed, and why, if you know why that would concern anyone? I must assume you are not referring to Eze 47:8, because I do not believe there is a person alive who knows what that verse means.

The "healing waters" Ezekiel was referring to were issued in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2), and will be issued again after Satan and his miserable bunch are defeated (Rev 22:1-2).

The "great tribulation" occurred in the first century, during the generation of the disciples, exactly like Jesus said it would:

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." -- Mt 24:21-22

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." -- Mt 24:34

The term "this generation" in the New Testament means the same every time it is used. It had the same meaning then, as it does today. Also notice in Matthew 24:21-22 that the elect were still around during the great tribulation. The elect were the earliest Christians, led by the disciples.

I have never heard that before. In Rev 2:9 and 3:9 Jesus was explaining to the early churches that those in the synagogues, who were creating terror amongst the early churches, were not really Jews as everyone believed; but were working for Satan. True Jews were/are circumcised in the spirit:

"For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." -- Rom 2:28-29

Jesus was merely restating, in different words, his earlier encounter with the self-proclaimed Jews:

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." -- Jn 8:44

As verse 12 states, the priesthood has been changed, not added to. The Levitical priesthood is history. The new priesthood are the servants of Christ.

The "holy mountain Jerusalem" in the prophecies is the "home" of the Lord, which is heavenly New Jerusalem on Mount Sion (Heb 12:22-24). Isaiah and Micah also wrote about it this way:

"But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." -- Mic 4:1-2

Note in your Isaiah passage the new priests come from the all nations, not from the tribe of Levi, or even from Israel. Therefore the new "Levites" were initially the early Christians from Israel (Paul, Peter, James, etc.); but afterward were most likely all Gentiles. In fact, I cannot think of an early church father after AD70 who was Jewish. Maybe some of the other members can name some.

The "healing waters" Ezekiel was referring to were issued in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2), and will be issued again after Satan and his miserable bunch are defeated (Rev 22:1-2).

The "great tribulation" occurred in the first century, during the generation of the disciples, exactly like Jesus said it would:

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." -- Mt 24:21-22

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." -- Mt 24:34
The term "this generation" in the New Testament means the same every time it is used. It had the same meaning then, as it does today. Also notice in Matthew 24:21-22 that the elect were still around during the great tribulation. The elect were the earliest Christians, led by the disciples

It is old testament prophecy. It is all symbolic. For example, the following is from Ezekiel, and it has all the hallmarks of "last days" prophecy and the "regathering of Israel":

"But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them." -- Jer 30:9

"And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd." -- Eze 34:23

"And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them." -- Eze 37:22-24

When does that happen? When does David rule over Israel and become their only shepherd?
