It's been one year since my ma died. I am the only girl - have 7 brothers.
One year. I can not even begin to explain what I am feeling.
One year since hubby dearest long lost daughter picked up the phone and told my ailing uncle and grandmother that I no longer live here and then proceeded to delete all of my incoming calls.
Please say a prayer for me tonight if you have the time. I sure could use it.

God of love and comfort, I lift my dear sister up to right now. She's in need of your comfort and love. Please comfort her as she grieves the loss of her mom, help her to feel your arms around her drawing her into your breast. Help her to know that you feel her grief as deeply as she feels it.

Please bring her peace and rest and relaxation today and in the days to come. Bring to her mind positive happy times with her mom and bring healing to the not so pleasant memories.

Continue to comfort, NostalgicGranny, give her peace and rest--peace and rest that can only come from you. We give you all the thanks, praise, and glory. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

Thank you so much. I am feeling better today. It was one of those days when pretty much every emotion bubbled. Anger, sadness, lost, and more.

All these firsts are hard to take. Her birthday, 1st Christmas, New Years, Easter, Mother's Day . . .
