  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Are you a christian? - Yes.

Do you like art? - Couldn't live without it. I'm a Renaissance Man.

Favorite Movie? - There are so many, I couldn't narrow it down to just one. However, a movie that I've seen recently that I really liked was "Lost In Translation."

are you a joking person or serious?

Both. Thing is, very few people seem to understand my sense of humor.

What kind of qualities do you admire in people?

I admire the "Old School" way of thinking.

Old School walks softly and carries a big stick.

Old School manages to accomplish something besides saving their own behind all the time.

Old School "Pays it forward."

If Old School's car breaks down while he's out on the road, he doesn't push his little Onstar button and sit there in the nice air conditioned cabin of his car while he waits for Roadside Assistance to come out there and fix it for him. No, he gets out and gets busy fixing it himself. And after he's done, he doesn't whine about how he got an oil stain on his $120 Banana Republic designer jeans.

Old School acknowledges that there's a pecking order in life. He grits his teeth and accepts the fact that he's going to have to work his way up just like everybody else before him has, and doesn't expect any breaks or exceptions to be made for him because he's "special."

There's alot more to it than that, but I'm too tired to think of any more at the moment. Hope that gives you a good enough idea of what I mean though.

ever kill anyone? Yes, but they were all bad I promise.
do you sing in the shower? No, but I sing sometimes when I'm in the middle of a polishing project.
who did you think you loved in the 4th grade? Amy Scotchco. I distinctly remember her, because I used to make fun of her last name by calling her "Amy Scotch Tape," and also because she was the only 4th grader I've ever known who had already decided at the ripe old age of 9 that she was going to attend Yale. I heart smart chicks.

What time do you have to get up in the morning? I'm self employed, so I don't HAVE to get up at any specific time, but 99 times out of 100, I'm in the office by 8AM. I've found that while being able to tell the world you live by your own rules lends a certain sense of gratification, it doesn't pay the bills.

Do you like your job? I came to be in the position I'm in sort've by a sense of duty and sort've by a sense of obligation, so I try not to feel a sense of entitlement to have my preferences. However, what I'm currently doing is not my calling.

What is your favorite book in the Bible? Ecclesiastes.

what do you think your calling is? Now here's your chance to run: in my early 20's, I was working toward a degree in psychology. Why I stopped is tied in with the sense of duty/obligation I mentioned previously.

How long have you been a Christian? I accepted Christ at Hume Lake Retreat in California on December 11, 1985. However, I didn't truly come to know who God is and begin to have a real relationship with Him until about 4 years ago. Long story.

have you read any good books lately? I wish I had as much time to read as I used to. I LOVE to read. The last thing I read was "The DaVinci Code." (Not because I believe any of the hogwash Dan Brown has concocted, but because I wanted to be up to speed on the details contained in the book for the purpose of debating those who DO believe.)
