Time for people to be able to make a choice.
Everyone knows the risk by now.

We also see the results of 10 months of lying and downplaying the crisis. We certainly do have a choice to make. More of that or a change for the better.

Things could have gone very different, if there was responsible handling of the issues. Trump just does not know what he is doing. He lies with saying he is a genius, that no one is better at ... fill in the blank ... as well, and then would admit later that he didn't want to create a panic when he knew a pandemic could be stopped, though he was quite public about a national emergency to enable building a wall. It is all alright, the thousands of deaths from the virus and all and that we of dealt with this so long because of the delays from the administration, Trump will be forgiven, like he will be for anything, he is president with a strong supportive base of followers faithful as any in a cult, with which he came into office, and there will be no acknowledged memory of him doing anything wrong, and others who mention any wrong from him are victims of fake news, and suffer from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). And Trump is the most anti-conservation president ever. His policies which involve natural environments are ruining them, and there is great destructiveness to this world that will quickly bring great critical issues to us from this administration, while many now still are blinded to that.

Is Biden still in the basement?
Might have to remodel the White House.

Biden might have to sterilized the White house . Since Trump cant keep himself safe. And there's no good reason for Trump to get COVID-19. He has means to himself. Better then us. It's inexcusable.

Even from a political view, Trump's actions regarding the virus have made little sense. At the end of May, the CDC had a reasonable plan for re-opening. Trump needed to do only a couple of things to make the virus HIS issue. He needed to support the recommendations of the CDC (probably delaying openings by a month in many places. And he needed to use Executive action to force companies to produce and deliver 15 minute testing kits. [he also could have used such action to send millions of sets of protective equipment to the hospitals]. Obviously, he need to publicly support the wearing of masks, social distances, and the banning of indoor crowds.
============
The result would have been openings by July 4th instead of Memorial Day. And yes, the economy would have been in pretty good shape by Election Day, with schools open.
=============
Instead the president pressured Republican governors to open states much too quickly in early June, and set his example by having an indoor rally in Oklahoma where a former Republican candidate died, and where lots of WH staff were infected.
=======
MY BOTTOM LINE
is that Trump would have been very likely to win on Election Day if he had avoided the Summer spike in cases by following CDC guidelines. I know that many disagree. However, EVEN NOW, over 55% say that they are better off than 4 years ago. It would be much higher had Covid deaths had been greatly reduced.

It is worth noting, Senior Citizens, a demographic that Trump won 4 years ago, now appear to be abandoning Trump -- and most explanations have to do with Trump's response on Coronavirus. Recent polls show Biden with a 20+ percentage point lead over Trump among voters 65 and over.

This 100%. In a strictly political sense, Covid should have been a gift for Trump. It’s a global crisis that there were clear plans to handle and which handed him a gift-wrapped opportunity to make people forget anything that came before, and present himself as a caring, empathic leader.

So of course he Trump’d it..

There is so much here that I agree with here!

Conservatives set up the first national parks - one of their best ideas. Now "Conservatives" think it is "Conservative" to change the chemistry of the atmosphere that feeds back into our climate.

Conservatives used to be careful and respect science. Now this President defies science, laughs at it, and calls any science he does not like fake news. He believes America has invisible jet fighters and can inject disinfectant into people's lungs.

I don't know who hurt America more - George W with his phony war to get Iraq's 'WMDs' that were not there but cost America $2 TRILLION dollars - or Trump killing 210k with his abysmal handling of the world's first real pandemic in 100 years. Whatever the case, history is going to judge this man harshly - and pandemic experts will study this Administration's actions and shake their heads in disbelief for all time. This is up there with the greatest mistakes in history - like Hitler taking on Stalin before he was ready and getting bogged down in a Russian winter.

Trump is possibly the worst President ever.

There is a chance to work at climate change not being as great a catastrophe if we change very much how all of us are living. But that will not happen with Trump remaining in office beyond this term, and we will see instead the worst of climate catastrophe, which is ruinous to this world.
