Hello All,
I do apologise if this has already been covered. I did have a quick look and didn’t see it mentioned I’m sorry if I missed it. I’ve been busy lately I will soon be married and obviously it has taken up a lot of my time. I’ve not been keeping an eye on politics and the news.
My question is primarily for the American users here. Why did so many people when referring to the attacks in Sri Lanka cite “Easter Worship” rather than call it an attack on Christians. Many of the same people were quick to call the Christchurch shooting an attack on Muslims, “the Muslim Community” or Islam.
Are things really so bad on the American left that the mere mention of Christianity is frowned upon?
I’d end by saying I do not use Twitter but a few articles I’ve read have made mention of tweets from Obama and Clinton et al. These people no longer aspire to office so why not call a spade a spade?
Jesus said it would get so bad, they would put Christians to death and actually believe they were doing God a favor. (John 16:2) Paul was like this before he met God in Christ Jesus.
