  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

  1. The Liturgist

This is what Christian Worship Should Look Like

I thought about posting this thread in Traditional Theology, where I have posted collections of thrilling liturgical worship before, however, recently I have added to my collection several worship services which are not liturgical, even if they are broadly speaking liturgical, or are from...

Any Former Sedevecantists? I'd like to hear your experiences with Sedevecantism

Hello, I am new to this forum. I grew up and was raised sedevecantist. Until recently, I have slowly by slowly---by the grace of God---started to drift away from Sedevecantism. I grew up having just some of the worse experiences with Sedevecantists. They have made me realize that being stuck...

    My Reversion Testimony

Hey everyone, I've finished re-editing my reversion story, and I thought I would post a link to it here: My Reversion Story: How Our Lady Of Fatima Led Me Back To The One True Faith | Christian Forums I've had a rough morning, but I'm doing better, I'm going to try and improve myself, so that...

    Roger Buck, a gentle TradCat

I thought I'd share something on the SOTE sub-forum, before I go on my trip to a notorious place. Here's a guy I met on FishEaters, Roger Buck, a former New Ager and Cafeteria catholic. He's the author of The Gentle Traditionalist (http://mybook.to/TheGentleTraditionalist) and Cor Jesu...

I saw the Darkness from which Liberalism comes

Every Saturday, I have more free-time from my meditative break, and thus, I thought I would take advantage of this free-time to speak with my fellow-Catholics on the OBOB about various stuff. However, I won't be available next Saturday, my family is going on a trip next-week to one of the most...

Special Thread: Why I am a Traditional Catholic

Tomorrow, I'm going to apologize to a modernist I had run-in with several months ago. However, a few moments ago, I stumbled across a quite frankly, blasphemous comment she made on another thread, and it left me really angry. I know I shouldn't be angry, I should be weeping, because it's not me...

    Traditional Catholic Forums

I was wondering if anyone could provide me, with a selection of good Traditional Catholic Forums. I'm getting tired of CAF, I'll still stay there, as a spokesperson and apologist for Traditional Catholicism, and to join in prayer requests. But I think I need a place to converse with some fellow...

My letter to my modernist RCIA class

I've written the following letter to my modernist RCIA class. I would all of you to please read it and give me feed-back and suggestions (including typos): Throughout my entire life, I was told by this culture that I could impose my own will on reality, IT. DOESN’T. WORK! You can’t impose your...

    TradCat Rosary Novena

I've realized that, I've failed to connect with my fellow Traditional Catholics on CF. I've been more preoccupied with Evangelization than with helping my fellow TradCats. It kind of reminds me of Fr. Chad Ripperger's comment, that TradCat families have a tendency to act like the mafia, being...

BC Provincial elections, how should a Traditional Catholic vote?

Is anyone here from the Canadian Province of British Columbia? I'm just wondering, which candidate and party should I vote for, in the upcoming Provincial elections? Which is candidate and party is most likely to conform with authentic Catholic teachings, or, as is often the case, to do the...

    Sedevecantism Continued

Inviting anybody who is interested in continuing the discussion on Sedevacantism. This is not meant to be a competition, this is for people who readily recognize that there is a problem in the Church today, and just want find a solution. We cannot, however, identify a solution if we cannot...
