  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Why so much animosity on the US Far-Right against immigrants??

I have to say that I am disheartened and constantly disturbed by the negative rhetoric against immigrants, especially undocumented immigrants, that I am seeing in the US and other countries as well. As a Christian, I believe in loving your neighbour as yourself. That means we should love our...

    Christians would this be wrong?

To wear a Christian cross around my neck? I come from a Greek family that is mostly Eastern Orthodox and I am Greek, and half Turkish. I guess I look like middle easternish to people so they automatically assume I am a Muslim and hurl slurs towards me that doesn't even apply. By no means do I...

African-American Police Officer Turned Priest Discusses Police Brutality in a Christian Context

Video: This a video from a 20-year police veteran who is now an Episcopalian priest. She's also an African-American. All that combined gives her a unique perspective on this issue. It's a 16-17 minute video, which is longer than I'd normally post, but I thought some might find it interesting.
