  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Palm Crosses

Okay, I have no idea where to post this question, so I hope here's fine. A random question for those of you who know how to fold palm crosses (or worship in churches where palm crosses are a thing) - how quickly can you fold them? How many in half an hour? In an hour? I'm only asking because I...

Millerite's 1844 message similar to Disciples Palm Sunday msg - both get some detail wrong.II

Because discussing Millerite and SDA history is of interest to SDAs and is allowed on the Traditional SDA forum... Two examples - of quoting correct texts (all scripture is "correct") and yet having "some" wrong expectations - where the message is ordained of God and necessary to the plan of...

    The Suffering Servant

A very nice reflection of the nature of God with a special focus on the events commemorated during Holy Week and what they mean in a larger spiritual sense: The Suffering Servant
