  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Anglican or Catholic or Orthodox?

Hi! I'm stuck deciding between these three Churches. I like the Catholic Church but I do have some concerns. One is that it seems to have become more liberal in appearance, even if not in doctrine, since Vatican II. I would much prefer a Mass in Latin or at least a Mass without contemporary...

Interpreting Ephesians 2:8: what is grace? what is faith?

I am new here, looking to decide on a denomination. Ephesians 2:8 is one of the verses that Christians are the most conflicted on from my point of view, so I thought I'd break down the arguments for each interpretation. I'm hoping someone can help me sort it all out: "For by grace are you...

    A few questions...(fasting before communion/hats/lack of evangelism)

Hi My name is Israel and I'm a non-denominational Christian. Recently I have been drawn to Orthodox Christianity by its beauty and claims of being the direct descendants of the apostles (which so many different sects claim). But I would really like to know the answer to these questions that I...
