  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Two Sides of the Coin of Faith

Revelation About the Book of James

The book of James confused me a lot. Everywhere in scripture it says we are saved by faith alone, not works, so I got confused about James 2. I saw some preachers twisting scripture in a way that still did not make sense... Saying things like being saved from man and stuff like that. So I...

My conscience has gotten weaker for awhile, convictions seem gone, and even though I had no desire for the world, Its gaining back its appeal, and following God has sometimes seemed to almost become a burden. How Do you Define Sola Fide (Faith Alone) and is it Biblical?

I believe Sola Fide (Faith Alone, or Justification by Faith Alone without works) only is accurate to say when we first come to the Faith. It is also accurate in the sense that is the foundation upon which we build, as well (For if a believer stumbles into a sin, they have God's grace not as a...
