  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What is the most extreme spiritual attack you have experienced?

House shaking, tornado-like roar outside the house, and all metal objects in the room moving/vibrating on their own.

...In a perfectly calm evening! A being met with me and gave me something, a cylindrical seal. I'm not sure if it's actually an attack because the whole thing scared me to death! Even my sister saw it and scared to her wits! But the being was very calm, did not threaten me in any way, just told me when the time comes, I'll be able to use the seal.

The seal wasn't physical. I saw it and looked like an ancient clay seal with unrecognizable letters. It disappeared on my hand.

I went through some times, multiple times, where "everything" bothered me a great, great deal... So much so that (and while I did not want to do this either and it bothered me as well), I had to get alone, isolated and cut off from everyone and everything and in complete silence, cause it was that bad... It was all fear based, I had to realize... I was having very severe anxiety, panic attacks, rampant paranoia, and severe PTSD... I was also hearing voices and sensing evil spiritual presences at the time...

I believe it was demonic/Satanic attacks playing on my fears... To make a long story short, God rescued me, saved me, and got me out of it (for the most part), but my problems went from major, to minor now... And, I am relieved now...

And while every once in a while, I still struggle, it is not nearly like it was, and I'm very thankful and grateful to God for that...

God Bless!

This is a good question! I find most of the annoying that I have had are attacks on my thought life. Thoughts will sometimes pop into my head that I do not want (i.e., thoughts of guilt, condemnation,etc...) for no apparent reason. Needless to say, I have learned over time to ignore these thoughts and pray as they come.

Nothing major that I can identify. One time evil spirits tried to scare me by rattling my door knob right after I went into my bedroom and closed the door. When I realized what it was I found it laughable because we have authority over them. So I rebuked them in Jesus's name and they left.

Quite a few things along the walk. I felt evil presence all around me when I grew up. When I am laying down on my bed, it will be standing by the door. Although I can't see them, the presence is definitely there. If I am walking down the street, it stands behind me. It was all intimidation.

Now that I have delve deeper and able to can see visions and dream dreams. The attack became more frequent.

In vision, I was taken to hell (twice), the literal hell where demons are, not your metaphorical hell where you experience a bad life. You can feel all this on your body.

Strangled by satan and got my voice high jacked. He spoken to me saying that "I can't win" If I recalled, this happened because I cleaned out my house everything that held me back from God.

In a warning vision, satan physical manifestated trying to initialize me in a satanic ritual through a friend who is possessed by sins. Since then, been praying for my friend and disturbing the evil spirit.

Just a few days ago, in another vision, satan came again disguises as a kid. This is the worst one out of all the attacks so far. It was a drawn out battle, couldn't wake up in places where I should have woken up. I made a bold move of calling him out by name and tell him to manifest himself. He never came...

There is probably more, these are the most memorable.

I know that exact state, I was in it for years. Thank God He is bringing me out of it, I'm glad you got out of it. Thanks for sharing, God bless

I have felt this same thing growing up. No one ever understood why I would get so upset around ceartain people, because I would feel the evil spirits in ceartain situations and it would disturb me. Middle school was the worst 3 years of my life

The most prominent in my life has been some of the arguments that the voice of evil has whispered into my psyche have been sophisticated and twisted to such a degree that I'm surprised I've not gone mad. These are deadening with study and prayer and time.

Thanks for sharing. What happened/ What all did you see/

The first time I went was merely an invitation almost. Didn't stayed there for long, it lasted about 3 seconds. The place is completely black, darker than black, the dark atmosphere felt like it is alive. You can't see anything. But you can feel things around you that are not human. If anyone ever stuck there, call out to God immediately.

When you wake up from it, your body will feel like something tried to possess it. The spinal cord vibrates violently and your body will keep shaking for an hour or so. You get this feeling when the evil spirit enters and it leaves that feeling when it leaves.

The second time to hell was also very quick. This time I saw and heard what is there. There are human screaming and demon screaming. Something grab hold of my leg and dragged me around, you won't be able to resist the strength.

Stay in prayer guys, don't lose sight of God. I get the idea that the closer you get to God, the stronger it becomes.

That is frightening. What do you mean by ''the closer you get to God, the stronger it becomes?'' The stronger what becomes?

Sorry my writing isn't very concise.
The darkness that comes and invade you becomes stronger as you get closer to God.

No you're fine. Do you mean, the darkness that comes and invades you while you are living on this earth? Are you trying to say, the closer you get to God, the bigger you will be attacked spiritually in this life?

Hi,
the enemy will attack, especially as you make good progress towards Jesus or when vulnerable such as newly bereaved.

As a grieving widow alone at night, I experienced an evil spirit drawing near. Happened about three times. Fortunately I was able to cry out Jesus's name and it instantly disappeared. Luckily I was already a Christian. It is simple and essential to call out to Jesus Christ at those moments, highly effective!
I do not dwell on evil, I do not fear it. I am protected. BUT, I have a healthy respect for Satan and his servants. I would never attempt to tackle them. Put the Lord God between you and them. They run.

I believe I was physically attacked by a demon once. My then husband was into to bad stuff with some bad friends. He brought some things into our home which were disturbing. I had recently learned to do spiritual warfare at church, and practiced it. It seemed to work, and I became cocky and arrogant. I taunted what I believe were evil spirits. I never saw anything, but I could feel one or more very swiftly and powerfully rush into our home. I felt something like a large, strong hand gripping my heart and could feel the presence of others surrounding me. I was on the phone with a Christian friend when all this was happening, and she told me to get on my knees and read Scripture outloud. I did, and as I read I began to calm down, and after a while I didn't feel their presence anymore. I called a pastor, and he prayed for me and over our home. The next time I saw him he had me sit with him in his office to talk with me about humility and picking fights.

Hi ,
never do that again. Do not take the devil on. Just ignore him whilst having a healthy respect for him. Remember he is in charge of this world, for now. Look at all the evidence. He is mighty. Focus on Jesus. For he fears only Jesus, not you, not me.
Concentration on Christ alone brings all protection and supreme peace.

Don't be afraid of the devil. He may be in charge to some extent, but God is Almighty, and the devil cannot do anything that God doesn't allow. No need to fear his threats. God is always in complete control.

If they attack, and even if it's the devil himself attacking, just say "Leave in the name of Jesus Christ!" and they have to leave. Luke 10:18-20.
Nothing can stand against the name of Jesus, and He has given us His authority.

And yes, of course this requires focus on our Lord, and Him only. Not on the enemy, not on ourselves, but on Him.

Fear no evil. :)

Hi,
I absolutely agree. Focus on Christ and trust in Him. All shall be well. How lucky we are! Otherwise this world truly would be hell on earth. It is Christian work and the Holy Spirit that keeps the balance from tipping over. Spiritual warfare rages all around. We need to stand firm.
