so much for protecting godly unions. gays should get the tax breaks married heterosexuals do, but no they should not be married as a union before God... it's blasphemy. God made a man for a woman and a woman for a man. Period.

Well _ i will tell you that God brought me and my partner together almost 20 years ago - and it is DEFINITELY blessed by Him, and it is a HOLY union in His sight - and most of all, it is the farthest thing from blasphemy. So there is no "period" on it at all.

But as you know, God is full of grace. I can tell you I do not deserve any of the blessings God has given me. I'm sure He blesses your faith in Him.. as well as your partners.

That's all well and good, but that's according to your particular religion's beliefs. Other religious groups do not see it as such.

I think its terrible. Next they'll be saying women should be allowed to vote.

Remember that a true believer would not support gay marriage due to what the Bible says. Start with reading the New Testament. The Lord says that His sheep know and hear His voice and they know Him.

I myself am saddened that the gay marriage ban did not pass. God's wrath is upon us and this country for all our wickedness and evil deeds. And because we will not hear Him, He will not hear us.

When will politicians learn to stop messing with the Constitution? They passed an amendment banning the sale of alcohol and look at what happened to the country.

That's interesting, I've never heard it put that way before. In what ways do you feel this is similar to the civil rights movement in the sixties?

Ha ha. Good one there. No, not until I'm 18 I'm afraid, my friend. But ladies 18 and up do vote is all I'm implying.

What I'm kinda amsused is the fact that homosexual individuals always did have the same rights as hetrosexual individuals... they just had to marry someone of the opposite sex. ha!

God first, forefathers and constitution last. To me, God's Word is the best book of all and everything else comes last. If the constitution ever said something against God's Word I would not obey it because it is a human-written document. You might say that's unpatriotic and disloyal to my country. Not really. And I'm not a permanent citizen of the USA either. I'm a permanent citizen of Heaven, that's my real eternal home where I'm going someday. The world is just my pilgrimage, I'm on my way home...just passing through. So the "disloyal to the USA" thing doesn't count.

I cant belive that so called christians could want this.The bible is clear on what it says about gays and gay relationships,and here you are saying your glad?If we allow gays to marry being married will no longer be a sacred thing,we are corrupting what god has ment to be sacred and holy.I cant belive we have come to this,it breaks my heart to think about it.
