  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Iranian morality police shot a woman visiting her parents’ graves after she refused to wear a traditional head covering, according to a report that authorities in Iran are once again brutally enforcing strict dress codes for women.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, an Iranian refugee still in contact with civilians in the country told NewsNationthat Iran’s morality police system is back in effect and once again arresting women for not wearing a hijab.

A few days ago, the police shot a woman dead at her relative’s grave as she had no scarf on her head and refused to cover her head,” the refugee said.

Mojgan Hassanpour, a 46-year-old woman from Lahijan, visited the cemetery of Agha Seyyed Morteza on the evening of May 21, Live Iran News shared on its Instagram. Additional reports claimed that the woman’s 7-year-old nephew was with her when armed Basij terrorists ordered her to "wear a veil."
