  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I believe Israel is still called in Isaac, the covenant of circumcision in their flesh, is everlasting. It is an earthly covenant, and Isreal remains as long as this earth remains

Yes, the covenant of circumcision is to be understood as an earthly covenant that establishes the people of Israel as G-d's property on this earth and ensures its continued existence as long as the earth exists. In Jewish tradition, this covenant is the reason for the election of the people of Israel and is understood as a sign of belonging and faithfulness to G-od. The Bible also emphasizes that Israel's election in this covenant establishes its significance for the salvation of other nations.

We have discussed how HaSatan robbed the House of Judah of the treasures given to it, such as sonship, glory, covenants, legislation and worship. And since the enemy is also a murderer, he has literally tried throughout the millennia not only to rob the Jewish people, but also to murder them. The history of hatred towards Jews is more than 2,000 years old. The Greeks, Persians and Romans already attempted to destroy the Jewish religion and convert or kill its believers. The list of pogroms aimed at exterminating the Jews is long and can already be found in the biblical narrative texts. I would like to focus here on just one tragic climax of anti-Semitic hysteria in Europe, and specifically in Germany, which marked the period of National Socialism with the Holocaust.

The reformer Martin Luther's defamatory writings around 1540, in which he described the Jews as a nation of liars and called for their extermination, had an enormous influence on later anti-Semitism.

Such a desperate, rotten, poisonous, devilish thing is this Jewish people, who have been our plague, pestilence and all misfortune for 1400 years ...

Furthermore, Luther believed that Jews were essentially parasites and conspirators. He demanded that their synagogues, schools, houses, property and writings be destroyed, adding,

if I could, I would... pierce them with my sword in my anger.

Hitler later used Luther's writings as a template for the Holocaust. For the Nazis, the Jews represented the main enemy of the Aryan race. They declared them to be a separate race and accused them of having a harmful influence on the quality of the Aryan race. Therefore, they had to be destroyed. And the pogrom or Reichskristallnacht from Nov 9 to 10 1938 coincided with Luther's birthday on Nov 10. This is a very good example of the frequencies of spiritual powers.

In an extensive Timeline of anti-Semitism, the last entry reads as follows, reproduced here in a translation into English:

On the morning of Oct 7, at around 6:30 a.m., Hamas terrorists destroyed the border fence between Israel and Gaza, and approximately 2,500 terrorists began their indiscriminate massacre at several kibbutzim, military bases, and an outdoor music festival. The number of visitors to the event alone was estimated at 3,000. In one morning, 1,400 people were murdered and over 243 hostages were taken to Gaza. This led to the current war between Israel and Hamas. The declared goal of Hamas and the Iran and other allied states behind it is the complete destruction and annihilation of the Jews. This is not a war with territorial expansion at stake, but the total annihilation of the Jews. And who is behind it? It is HaSatan himself, and that is the real battle Israel has to fight. Hamas, Iran, and their allied states are only the brutal, merciless henchmen of HaSatan. During the massacre on Oct 7, Hamas terrorists indiscriminately killed Jews, even filming these murderous scenes and proudly sending them to their relatives, who glorified these acts. An analysis of kindergarten and school materials has shown that Palestinian children are trained from an early age to hate and kill Jews through appropriate assignments.

The powers of darkness can only be defeated by the Messiah Jesus Christ

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Col 2:15

This means that the triumphant victory over these satanic powers can only be achieved through Jesus Christ.

So what can we do now?

Pray for the Jews, and especially for the government and Jewish soldiers, that they may receive a revelation about their Messiah who will help them win this satanic battle.

Are you ready to join the army of prayer?

The only prayer goal is to pray that the Jews will recognize their Messiah.

Those who feel called upon in spirit, pray with us now.

This end-time battle has now begun and will culminate in the Great Tribulation, where those who are human allies of HaSatan will go against believers worldwide, and the beheadings announced in Revelation will take place. If you still believe that you will be taken away from all this through a rapture, then wake up at last and prepare yourself for the end-time scenario. And if you even believe that only Israel will have to go through the Great Tribulation and that you will be raptured, then you are believing in yet another anti-Semitic proclamation.

Throughout the millennia, HaSatan has robbed and murdered the Jews, time and time again, including through Christians and their church fathers.

And now the enemy has introduced a new variation among believers. Namely, that the Jews are not really Jews at all. He robs them of their Jewish identity. The enemy, who is now acting so mercilessly and ruthlessly against the Jews, knows full well that they are Jews.

When believers from the nations believe that the Jews are not really Jews, they naturally leave them alone and abandon them. Is that the spirit of Moses or Apostle Paul? The people of Israel constantly grumbled and sinned by erecting the golden calf. And what did Moses say about this? He was an advocate for his people, inspired solely by the desire for salvation, and renounced the prospect of becoming a new people pleasing to YHVH.

The word that G-d had addressed to him

I will make of thee a great nation, Gen 12:2a

is not even considered by G-d's friend. Rather, he is prepared to take upon himself not only the guilt of his people, but also all its consequences. When he returns to the mountain after the destruction of the golden calf to ask again for salvation for Israel, he says to YHVH:

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. Ex 32:32

Apostle Paul also wrote to the believers in Rome in this spirit:

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of G-d's elect? It is G-d that justifieth. Rom 8:33

And that is precisely the point at which believers accuse the Jews. Of course, there is also much sin in the house of Judah, where the Torah is read just as little as among Christians. One could list many things here. But it is all a process. Believers from the nations who did not live according to the Torah are now discovering the Torah. And Jesus forgives their sins of transgression, of not keeping the Sabbath, of celebrating pagan festivals and not his festivals, etc. The grace that has been poured out upon us is tremendous. And so YHVH also deals with the Jewish people. It is He who justifies.

Even for the Jewish state, which some believers do not consider to be given by YHVH, it is a process. After all, many Jews have returned to Israel, where Jesus will return. Without this state and the return of the Jews, Jesus would have no state to return to. If this Jewish state did not exist, where would Jesus return to? To USA? To Germany? To France or even Brazil? And in this course of salvation history, the Messiah will establish his kingdom.

There is a long line of Christian believers who, over the centuries, have stood by the Jewish people and, through their prayers, writings, and deeds, have contributed to the existence today of a Jewish state that has become a refuge for Jews from all over the world. We are in good company when we stand alongside the Jewish people today and oppose anti-Semitism, prejudice, and lies, as well as affirm Israel's right to exist in peace and security. And, of course, we should also help them financially, especially now in times of need.

The role of each individual should not be underestimated in this regard.

Just as Jacob, later called Israel by G-d, had 12 sons, YHVH chose a people from 12 tribes, which is called the whole house of Israel

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Ez 37:11

The whole house of Israel is biblically divided into the house of Judah and the house of Israel. As in Isaiah, for example:

For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry. Isa 5:7

We have been grafted into this entire house of Israel and thus belong to the confederation of Israel.

And this entire House of Israel was created for the covenant with YHVH. I repeat this again: We were created for the covenant with Yah. The covenant is characterized by the terms of the covenant, by keeping which we remain in YHVH's blessing, by transgressing which we fall under the curse.

And sin is defined in the renewed covenant, i.e., in the NT, as transgressing the terms of the covenant, more precisely as transgressing the Torah

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4

Instead of lawlessness, one should say Torahlessness, because wherever Torah appears, it has been translated as law in most Bible translations, which is of course incorrect.

And now the big question arises:

How does YHVH deal with the Torahlessness of His children, that is, the whole house of Israel and those who have been grafted in?

As we read in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, which are mistakenly called the OT, YHVH has sent His prophets over and over again throughout the centuries to preach teshubah, that is, to exhort repentance and conversion

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts. Zec 7:11-12

And when the people did not listen, YHVH finally intervened. For example, the house of Judah was taken into captivity in Babylon, which, as the prophet Jeremiah had announced, would last 70 years. And the house of Israel, the ten so-called lost tribes, were scattered throughout the world, where they remain to this day. But neither the house of Judah nor the house of Israel nor we who are grafted in ceased to belong to his whole house of Israel. There is even a wonderful promise for the end of days:

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. Jer 3:18

In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the Lord their G-d. Jer 50:4

What sin did the house of Israel, that is, the ten tribes of the northern kingdom or the house of Ephraim, commit?

What sin was so great that YHVH scattered them throughout the world for over 2000 years?

These 10 tribes in the north stopped traveling to Jerusalem for the feasts and instead visited the new holy places of Dan and Bethel. In addition, they moved the autumn feasts from the seventh to the eighth month. Their motto was: The main thing is that the autumn festivals are celebrated. And this kind of sin continues in Christianity to this day, where even the Torah has been declared no longer valid for Christians.

I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. Hos 8:12

In Hebrew, law is referred to as Torah.

I think that all or almost all of those who have now or for some time recognized the Hebrew roots of their faith and have converted to the validity of the Torah had been living in the sin of Torahlessness. We have all been running to the right of the home stretch, just as many Christians are still running to the right of it now. And many from the House of Judah run to the left of the home stretch, placing Talmudic writings above the Torah and claiming that the rabbis have the final say, not YHVH. But part of the House of Judah has preserved the Torah, also for us.

Now that we, who belong to the house of Judah or the house of Ephraim, have experienced so much grace in our lives and YHVH has removed the veil from our eyes, the question arises: how do we deal with certain movements that are rising up against the Jews?

It is about buying up time and standing by their side, in prayer and practical help. And that is especially true right now, as they fight against the spirit of Hamas, which will one day turn against us as well.

Just as YHVH deals with the house of Ephraim, He will also deal with the house of Judah. And we who are grafted in or belong to one of the twelve tribes should not look down on the house of Judah with pride and arrogance, thinking we know better than they do.

My opinion on all of this is......What God swore on oath to Abraham will be his inheritance. That is the kingdom we are graffed into.

1 chr 16:13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; {the lot: Heb. the cord }
Israel remains called in Isaac, and will remain called as long as this earth endures

John 7:37 On the last and greatest day of the Feast(Sukkot , Tabernacle), Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water (river) will flow from within him."

In Romans, the Bible makes it very clear what G-d requires of Christians from all other nations. Paul is writing primarily to Christians of non-Jewish origin. Here it says:

For I speak to you Gentiles,... Rom 11:13a

He reminds the non-Jews what they owe to the Jews and warns them against adopting an arrogant or ungrateful attitude towards Israel. An analysis of this chapter will show that Paul uses the name Israel for those who are Jews by natural descent, as opposed to Christians who are of non-Jewish origin. In other words, Paul does not use Israel as a synonym for the body of Christ.

I say then, Hath G-d cast away his people? G-d forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. G-d hath not cast away his people which he foreknew... Rom 11:1-2a

In Romans 11, Paul also summarises what he has said about the guilt and responsibility of Gentile Christians towards Israel (for clarity, the respective words Israel or Gentiles are placed in brackets next to the pronouns):

For as ye (Gentiles) in times past have not believed G-d, yet have now obtained mercy through their (Israel's) unbelief: Even so have these (Israel) also now not believed, that through your (the Gentiles) mercy they also may obtain mercy. Rom 11:30-31

The Jewish people are a kind of yardstick by which all other nations are judged. The Word of G-d encourages us to seek the best for Israel and Jerusalem in prayer:

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Ps 122:6

Here in Psalm 122, we find a beautiful and well-known promise of blessing that applies to all those who align themselves with G-d's purposes for Jerusalem, Israel, and G-d's people.

In this context, the Bible warns and admonishes us:

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Ps 129:5

Every nation that opposes G-d's plans to restore Zion will be put to shame and retreat. With their response to the restoration of G-d's people, nations decide their own fate.

As Christians, we cannot remain neutral and say, ‘Let's wait and see what happens!’ We must actively align ourselves with what G-d says in His Word and does in human history. This is done primarily through prayer. We can pray for peace and the restoration of Jerusalem, that Jerusalem will become all that G-d has declared and announced in His Scriptures. And to all those who care about this, who pray and have a heart for it, the promise applies:

they shall prosper that love thee.

In order to pray effectively in this direction, we must search the Bible for G-d's purpose for Israel and Jerusalem and then begin to pray intelligently and persistently for the implementation and fulfilment of these purposes. It is established that ultimately justice and peace for all nations of the earth shall emanate from Jerusalem; thus, the well-being of all nations is included in this prayer for Israel and Jerusalem and depends on its fulfilment.

In the Bible, Israel is not a minor topic for specialists, but a central concern of G-d's heart.

The congregation in the nations is G-d's chosen means by which Israel will be provoked to say ‘yes’ to Jesus the Messiah and His proven grace. The main task of the concregation is to pray for the salvation of Israel and to provoke the Jews to jealousy by becoming a powerful prophetic witness so that Israel may receive G-d's mercy.

G-d's end-time work is triggered by his zeal for Jerusalem and by the praying congregation, which aligns itself with his heart and prays for the salvation of Israel with fasting and holy gatherings throughout the earth. Today, G-d is calling forth set (appointed) watchmen (Isa 62:6) from the nations who, like Paul and David, carry his heart for Jerusalem, fight in prayer for the salvation of Israel, and will ‘give him no rest’ for Zion's sake.

An encouraging biblical example of this type of prayer is Daniel, who resolved to pray three times a day at the window facing Jerusalem. Daniel's prayers disturbed Satan so much and threatened his kingdom so greatly that he exploited the jealousy of evil men to change the laws of the Persian Empire and thus declare Daniel's prayer illegal. On the other hand, Daniel's prayers for Jerusalem meant so much to him that he preferred to be thrown into the lions' den rather than stop praying. Ultimately, Daniel's faith and courage overcame Satan's resistance, and he emerged victorious from the lions' den to continue praying for Jerusalem (cf. Dan 6).

Such a commitment to pray for Israel and Jerusalem will certainly provoke a certain amount of resistance from powers controlled by Satan. On the other hand, we will also discover that G-d's promise, that all them that love him are blessed, will come true for all who pray in this way. This is a biblical path to prosperity, not only in financial or material terms, but in the form of a lasting assurance of G-d's favour, care and protection. For blessed means much more than just material things. This phrase describes a deep, inner well-being and freedom from fear and worry. When we align ourselves with G-d's plan by praying for Israel and Jerusalem, we get a foretaste of His peace. Those who actively identify with G-d's plans to restore His people in the midst of the chaos that reigns in our world will experience a sense of inner calm and peace.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the Lord our G-d I will seek thy good. Ps 122:6-9

Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Rom 11:18

The return of the hostages was the headline news in Israel last week. However, there are other issues that need prayer and must not be neglected.

Abba Father, we rest in Your omniscience, which sees all things, and therefore trust that, according to Isaiah 42:9, there are never any emergencies in heaven.

King Jesus, help us as we intercede for the Israeli government, for often the reports in the media are distortions of the truth or outright lies against the current leadership

None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity... And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Isa 59:4 .14

According to the passage from the Torah, send Your Spirit, G-d, to bring order and light into the chaos of the very strong opinions that permeate Israeli society and government

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of G-d moved upon the face of the waters. And G-d said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:2-3

Creator G-d, bring Your wisdom into Israel's current coalition and cover them with a cloak of Your holy fear

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Ps 111:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction... The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding... The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility. Prov 1:7; 9:10; 15:33

We ask You, Abba, that You alone determine when the next elections in Israel will take place

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:... for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. Eccl 3:1 .17b

Since US President Trump said that he sometimes had to put pressure on Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu while Israel is still fighting a war on several fronts, and Bibi sometimes gave in, forgive him Abba, that he submitted to Trump's very grandiose but dangerous "peace plan" for Gaza, and strengthen Israel's leader so that he can resist him in the near future when necessary

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy G-d, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deu 31:6
Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. Jer 1:8-9

G-d of Israel, as You did with Gideon, clothe Netanyahu with Your Spirit

But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him. Judges 6:34

Lord G-d, equip Bibi with everything he needs to be Your anointed instrument in this position

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Job 32:8

Abba Father, bring an end to the lengthy court proceedings that have been pursuing Netanyahu for many years and yet have produced nothing that would justify a conviction

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. But the Lord is my defence; and my G-d is the rock of my refuge. Ps 94:20-22

We thank You that all the hostages who are still alive have returned

The Lord looseth the prisoners: Ps 146:7b

Lord, through Your Spirit, bring healing and redemption into their lives as they struggle with the difficult process of reintegration into their families and Israeli society

And G-d said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:3

Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!... The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Ps 107:19-21; 147:2-3
The Spirit of the Lord G-d is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. Isa 61:1-3

Jesus, Lord, help the medical staff of Israel who are trying to bring healing to the returned hostages and their families

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out. Prov 20:5
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after... Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. Jer 30:17; 33:6

and please send comfort to the families who have only received the bodies of their loved ones

I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. Ex 15:26b
Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor? Job 30:25
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Rom 12:15

Almighty G-d, let no bodies of hostages remain in the hands of Hamas

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. Isa 49:24-26

Lord, as terrorist murderers have once again been exchanged for hostages, move more Israelis to call for the application of the death penalty in order to prevent this unjust act in the future

And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death... Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him... Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. Num 35:16-18 .21 .30-31
