Everybody on these forums knows how things work in the scriptures, first we have Jesus Christ witnessed in the law and the prophets, who fulfils all things, that is why He is prophesised in the old testament, because all that was going on with the Judaic law, and the world was chaos.
Now this thread is about the ten commandments, and right now we can focus on what it meant to keep the first covenant, of those ten commandments, and of the transgression of that law that God gave to Israel.
In the prophets here in Isaiah 53, we have details of the Messiah pouring out ( like water) HIs soul unto death, and we hear also this is Him bearing the sin of many, and it is the Messiah who made intercession for the transgressors.
So right away go to Hebrews 9, and we see the message continuing, that by means of death ( of the Lord Jesus Christ.) those which are called might receive the promise, ( Jesus Christ confirmed the promises made unto the fathers/we are saved by that hope ministered to us for the truth of God. Romans 15:8) of eternal inheritance. For that reason Jesus Christ is the mediator of the new testament, for redemption of those transgressions that were under the first testament, ( the old testament.)
Jesus Christ offering Himself without spot to God ( as Isaiah 53 prophesised first) to purge ( by that sacrifice) our CONSCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS ( of the dead law) to serve the LIVING God. ( See Acts 2:33-36/17:31, how Jesus Christ received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost/received gifts for men when He ascended on high Psalm 68:18, which lets the house of Israel know assuredly that God made the same Jesus who they crucified, both Lord and Christ, appointing a day which He will judge the world by that man whom He ordained, which gives assurance to all men that He has risen Him from the dead/it is witnessed that He lives, He ever lives to make intercession for us, He is He that lives and was dead, and behold He is alive for evermore, and has the keys of death and hell. Hebrews 7:8/25. Revelation 1:18.
Psalm 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.
Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Hebrews 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Continuing the order of how things are explained to all in the world by these scriptures. The redemption the world has been made aware of is in Christ Jesus. Set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, declaring His righteousness to those which believe in Jesus. ( which justifies them) By the law of faith, not of works, and concluding that a man is justified by faith, and faith is without the works of the law.
All things from there work good to those who love Go and are called, ( to these promises of faith) predestined to be made in the image of HIs Son, to be called, justified and glorified, God delivered HIs own Son to FREELY give us all things, nobody can lay chage to Gods elect, it is God which JUSTIFIES, who can CONDEMN when it is Christ that died and is risen again, at the right hand of God who makes INTERCESSION for us ? We are conquerors through Him that LOVED US.
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Keeping going in the order of events. We have known by all we are testified ( to those who believe in the promises fulfilled in Christ) a man is NOT JUSTIFIED BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW, but BY THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST, ( to those who have believed in Jesus Christ.) to be JUSTIFIED BY THE FAITH OF CHRIST. ( NOT BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW, BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW NO FLESH IS JUSTIFIED.)
As we seek to be justified by Christ, we cannot be found to be sinners, Christ is NOT THE MINISTER OF SIN, if we have to rebuild again what we destroy, this is being a TRANSGRESSOR.
But we are DEAD TO THE LAW, through the LAW, and so we can LIVE UNTO GOD. The life we now live in the flesh we live by the FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, who loved us and GAVE HIMSELF FOR US. ( IF RIGHTEOUSNESS CAME BY THE LAW THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN/the GRACE of God did NOT COME BY THE LAW.)
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
