Haggai is fulfilled, you think?
Explain then when did
the Lord shake the earth and the nations? Haggai 2:6 When did He
overthrow kings and armies?
Haggai 2:22
A little while, to God is a thousand years for us.
Saying that does absolutely nothing to change His words of truth no matter how much you dislike them. Did He ever give you the authority to erase and replace His words? Look how God rebuked the Jews for doing the same thing.
Ezekiel 12:
26Furthermore, the word of the LORD came to me, saying
, 27“Son of man, take note that the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees is for many years from now; he prophesies about the distant future.’ (This regards the vision of Chapter 7, just a few years before Nebuchadnezzar destroys Solomons temple)
28Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says:
‘None of My words will be delayed any longer. The message I speak will be fulfilled, declares the Lord GOD.’”
--Was the following true or not to those who received the letter?
Hebrews 10:
35So do not throw away your confidence; it holds a great reward.
36You need to persevere, so that after you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.
37For,
“In just a little while,
He who is coming will come and will not delay.
--Why would God tell Zerubbabel the following if it wasn't true?
Haggai 2:21-22
“
Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that
I am about to shake the heavens and the earth: / I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn
chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
--Now I believe v26 is referring back to Moses on Mt Sanai because only the earth was shaken.
Hebrews 12:
26At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”
27This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.
28Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,
29for our God is a consuming fire.
Scripture says He will live in the Lords House; a Temple.
Zechariah 14:20-21,
Isaiah 2:2
On earth, during the Millennium. But not in Eternity;
Revelation 21:22
1 Corinthians 3:16
Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
Didn't you notice that God and the Lamb are the temple of this spiritual house. Why is the New Jerusalem called the Bride, the wife of the Lamb?
1 Peter 2:5you yourselves like
living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Here in part is the vision of the Spiritual House:
Revelation 21:
19The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone:
The first foundation was jasper,
the second sapphire,
the third chalcedony,
the fourth emerald,
20the fifth sardonyx,
the sixth carnelian,
the seventh chrysolite,
the eighth beryl,
the ninth topaz,
the tenth chrysoprase,
the eleventh jacinth,
and the twelfth amethyst.
Ephesians 2:19-22
Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household, / built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. / In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord. ...
