I have failed a lot of my tests. I am no 'Super Christian.'
One example is evangelism. I’m not very good at it.I don't know what context you're using "tests", but you're really being way too hard on yourself. So many Christians believe that their faith makes them "set apart", but they are still human first, with human emotions, needs, wants, and urges.

Well your first clue is egalitarian.I find it appalling that some egalitarian Christians support homosexuality. What part of "do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman" did they not understand? (Leviticus 18:22)
Well your first clue is egalitarian.
If they're willing to ignore black and white Scripture on one issue then chances are they'll do the same elsewhere.
Egalitarianism is just another instance of pervasive progressivism that views Scripture through a cultural lens, not viewing culture through a Scriptural lens.
Both sides make mistakes, but when some of them are defined by a position that is contrary to Scripture and in disobedience to God, it makes sense that they are open to misinterpreting Scripture for their own beliefs and goals. Not every single egalitarian goes along with homosexuality, but there are some that do. I certainly don't.
Both sides (egalitarians and complementarians) take certain beliefs to the extreme. It's like politics. Unfortunately, many people stick to the extremes.
Do you think complementarians ignore certain parts of the Bible? Do you have an example?
What do you have to lose?It feels like I have found the Facebook account from someone in CF Singles who posted here many moons ago. I'd like to message to see how she's doing. But if it's not her or if she didn't remember me, I'd feel foolish.![]()
They do, & a lot of time the churches that emphasize evangelizing don't care as much for discipleship. This will probably sound bad, but I think certain churches place too much emphasis on evangelizing. The best thing to do would be to talk to God about what you should be doing.
