CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am not sure what is going on with Tulsi but she is not the do all be all . She is just one piece in a larger intelligence community. Israel who has the most to lose here was convinced , Trump was convinced and made the right decision. Again Iran has publicly stated they would continue enrichment which has no peaceful use. Why the need for a “peaceful “ enrichment site deep in the earth? Iran is currently under an evil regime, hopefully soon to fall. Good riddance.

You will never be convinced of anything related to this decision. We struck the means of an evil regime who has repeatedly vowed our destruction. That was the action of a President keeping his word to protect the American people. What is your purpose and goal here?

Your arguments are not convincing, no. But never say never just because your defense of the event is weak.
Your defense is the same as was also during the US attack on Iraq and elsewhere. However, if we learned something, the US-led actions in the world are mostly proven wrong, disruptive or embarrassing (Afghanistan), after some time passes.

What is weak is the uninformed attacks on the decision of our president who is actually doing the job he was elected to do. Unlike some of the previous presidents who helped us get in this situation where this had to be done. Trump has been saying Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon since 2011 and has recently given Iran every opportunity to come to a peaceful conclusion but they refused. It is my opinion that currently it is the radical liberals and many in the Democratic Party who are equally a threat to the future of democracy in this country.

I doubt Americans elected Trump to provoke or join another war in the Middle East region and risk new terrorist attacks against Americans etc.
My guess is that Trump was elected mainly because of the immigration crisis, too much wokeness and bad economic situation. These are basically his only mandates.
