It won't work. I'll miss the arts and drama programs on PBS and no doubt NPR will have to cut back on it's news programming but there are other sources of real news, not just in the US but from abroad where the content is hard for MAGA to control.

No silly, no one is claiming that. Its all about what specific viewpoint on what is and isn't discrimination and how do we deal with it. The internal workings and viewpoints of NPR are obvious according to the article posted earlier. Our tax payer dollars should not be spent on any particular ideology. Whether that be liberal or conservative. NPR ought to be the most neutral and unbiased organization out there because it funded by taxpayer money. It shouldn't be pushing ANY kind of political agenda. Internally or externally.

No one would be concerned if they were still just reaching like Mr. Rogers or simply showing arts programs. Nobody would care. I grew up with Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street. Today's Sesame Street isn't mine I grew up with.

You are confused, those are not my quotes, that's a quotation from the article.
Hardened gang members who have committed violent crimes are not political prisoners. Non-violent American citizens who are imprisoned for their political beliefs, whether they prayed or were just in the wrong place or because they supported Trump but are imprisoned are the real political prisoners. I just don't understand the affinity from the left to sympathize with human traffickers and wife beaters and violent gang members.
