who said anything about Herod, Hitler, Judas and satan? Jesus paid for every sin of every true believer, His own elect. The people who He decided to by grace give eternal life to.

All of you who say that salvation can be lost, fail to explain the cross. Why is that?

Christ sacrifice was perfect. He satisfied God's wrath fully, but only for the true believer. There is no wrath for those who are in Christ. Every true Christian was judged in Christ, and because Christ was without sin, the penalty of death was invalid. And because every true Christian was judged in Christ, there is no longer judgement. The sins were judged, No sin remains.

When Christ was dying on the cross He said 'it is finished' or 'tetelestai' in Greek. Tetelestai was a stamp 2,000 years ago that was stamped on an invoice to confirm the dept was paid for in full. This is what happened on the cross. Christ paid in full for the debt of every believer, past, present, future. The debt is paid. How can one lose salvation. Based on what? There is no judgment for those in Christ.

We will all give account to God one day. I will say that Christ done everything for me on the cross. You will say to the Father that sending His own Son was not enough, that you, a filthy sinner added to the cross. You will say to Christ that Him sacrificing Himself for you was not enough. God has giving His life for you, but you are saying that was not enough. Good luck with that.

If He paid for all mankind, then all mankind would go to Heaven, which we know, is not the case.
As my entire post clarified Jesus did pay the penalty for all mankind. However, not all will take hold of what He died to provide. Man is responsible to make the choice whether to accept what Jesus died to provide; God does not force anyone "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

Scripture reveals and confirms that everyone must believe and obey God in order for the NT rebirth to become a reality. (Acts 2:4-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16) This is just the beginning. What follows is a lifelong journey led by the Holy Ghost.

Show the verse stating this.
The following is the same scripture, posted previously, but from the NKJV translation. Note those who hold fast and repent are assured there names will remain in the Book of Life. Conversely, those who do not hold fast and repent will have their names blotted out.

"Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Rev. 3:3-6 NKJV

"My sheep listen to me, i give them eternal life, and no one can snatch them from me, and will never perish".
???
It is true that no one can snatch them away. However, they can of their own accord walk away. (Heb. 6:4-6, 1 Tim. 4:1, Matt. 24:10-13)

Is there a question?

Yes, the question is related to the topic, the scripture, says the sheep hears his voice, and will never perish, then why you can lose your salvation if you are a sheep?.

For the clear answer to that good question,
ask the Father to reveal that as He Did/Does in His Word, the Bible, and to grant understanding to you freely and without charge.

Jhn 6:44 -51 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

NOTE FROM BIBLE HUB:
he who believes
The concept of belief here is not merely intellectual assent but involves trust and reliance on Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior. In the broader biblical context, belief is often linked with faith, which is a central theme throughout the New Testament. This belief is a personal commitment to Jesus, acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior. The historical context of this statement is during Jesus' discourse on being the Bread of Life, where He invites people to believe in Him for spiritual sustenance. This belief is also connected to the Old Testament prophecies about the coming Messiah, who would bring salvation to God's people.

Jhn 6:48 I am that bread of life.
Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

Jhn 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

NOTE FROM BIBLEHUB STUDY for john 6:51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
This statement is a profound declaration of Jesus' divine origin and mission. The phrase "I am" echoes the divine name revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14, indicating Jesus' divinity. The concept of "living bread" connects to the manna provided to the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 16), which was a temporary sustenance. In contrast, Jesus offers eternal sustenance. The imagery of bread is significant in Jewish culture, symbolizing life and sustenance. By stating He "came down from heaven," Jesus emphasizes His pre-existence and divine mission, aligning with John 1:14, where the Word became flesh.
If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.
This phrase introduces the concept of spiritual nourishment leading to eternal life
. Eating the bread symbolizes accepting and internalizing Jesus' teachings and sacrifice. The promise of living forever reflects the eternal life offered through faith in Christ, as seen in John 3:16. This eternal life is not merely an unending existence but a quality of life in communion with God. The invitation is universal, "if anyone," indicating the inclusivity of the gospel message.

And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.”
Here, Jesus foreshadows His sacrificial death on the cross. The giving of His flesh refers to His impending crucifixion, where His body would be broken for humanity's redemption. This act fulfills Old Testament prophecies, such as Isaiah 53, which speaks of the suffering servant. The phrase "for the life of the world" underscores the global scope of Jesus' mission, offering salvation to all humanity. This sacrificial language prefigures the Last Supper, where Jesus identifies the bread with His body (Matthew 26:26). The concept of substitutionary atonement is central here, where Jesus' death provides life to those who believe. ( and follow him)

The Parable of the Sower Explained

Mat 13:18-23 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

yes some people may believe in Jesus and all he did but at one point lose faith and are no longer following him, in the world we live in this is unfortunately frequent, it is why perseverance is so important.

Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus

Mat 16:24-27 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Following Christ , the son of God, who is true faithfull and Just, is not an easy task and many refuse to do so and prefer a different gospel.

Like i stated you do not have a verse that actually supports your belief. That believers who do not overcome will be blotted out of the book of life.

Exodus 32:32-33

"But now, if you will forgive their sin—very well; but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written." The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book."

Psalm 69:28

"Add guilt to their guilt and do not let them come into your righteousness. Let them be wiped out of the book of life, and not be listed with the righteous."

Revelation 3:5

"The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will not blot out their name from the book of life, but will acknowledge their name before my Father and his angels."

So which verse that you posted states believers will have their name blotted out of the book of life. For not repenting and being an overcomer.

I am not against discussing further but if you accuse me again or wrong doing and call me a filthy sinner and adding to the cross, I will stop responding.
John 5:24 “He that hears my Word and believes on Him that sent me has everlasting life and, therefore, shall not come into judgment but is passed from death unto life.”
If you believe, you have everlasting life
“And shall not come into judgment,” “is passed from death unto life.”
Does it say you have to live a certain way to come to everlasting life? No.

If you believe...Every true believer in Christ has been judged in Christ on the cross. God cannot judge His people in any way because His people have already been judged in Jesus. So you are saying God judged me in Christ and then changed His mind and is going to judge me again for something that's been judged in Christ already?

Christ satisfied God's wrath on the cross for the elect of God. When Christ drank the cup of God’s wrath He drank it to the dregs. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and that means on the final day and every day until then. God is never judging you for your sin if you are in Christ. So how can I lose my salvation and go to hell when Christ fully satisfied God's wrath for me? Christ satisfied God's wrath but then I'm going to suffer God's wrath for eternity? See the problem you are having?

In John 6, verse 37, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me.” In other words, all those that God designs sovereignly to redeem will come to Christ. Very simple statement. And from the human viewpoint, that should not restrain any man because “him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.”

In other words, only those whom the Father draws will come, and only those will come whom the Father draws. So there is a perfect meeting. “For I came down from heaven not to do mine own will but the will of Him that sent me, and this is the Father’s will who sent me, that out of all that He hath given me, I should lose” - how many? - “none.”

“Of all that the Father gives me, I shall lose nothing, but raise him up again at the last day.” In other words, all those chosen unto salvation, all those who affirm that salvation by coming to Jesus Christ, will be raised up in the last day. There’s no loss, you see. Nobody escapes, nobody’s lost, nobody falls through the cracks. And verse 40 sums it up, “And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one who sees the Son” - and that is with the eye of faith, the eye of true spiritual perception - “and believes on Him may have everlasting life.” Saying salvation can be lost contradicts Jesus.

Romans 8:1 says, “There is, therefore, now no judgment” - there is no judgment, no final judgment, no ultimate condemnation - “to them who are in Christ Jesus.” No judgment to them in Christ Jesus.

God chose people to salvation. He will bring them to full conformity to Christlikeness. Nobody falls in the cracks. Nobody is lost. They will all be brought to that. “For whom He did predestinate, them He also called. And whom He called, them He also justified. And whom He justified, them He also glorified.” Do you see any loss there? Whoever is called, whoever is predestined, whoever is redeemed, whoever is justified, whoever is sanctified is glorified. No loss.

it is not Paul who you obviously follow.
Paul only taught what the Holy Spirit told Him. He was not writing according His own accord. He never contradicted Christ in his writing. Just because I quote Paul, does not mean I follow Paul.

call me a filthy sinner
I did not mean just you. But all of us. We are all filthy sinners incable to save ourselves. We are dead in our sins, living in bondage to sin. It is God in His mercy who saves, that's it.

As my entire post clarified Jesus did pay the penalty for all mankind
Since only the elect of God will be saved, Jesus must have died only for them. Otherwise, Jesus’ death “failed” those who are not elect. If Jesus died for everyone, then hell will be full of people for whom Jesus died—was His atonement insufficient? If Jesus died only for the elect, then His atonement perfectly accomplished its goal. Every person for whom Jesus died will be in heaven.

In John 10 we see that Christ died for His sheep. Also, all who are His sheep will come to Him and they are kept secure in Christ.

If Jesus paid penalty for all mankind, then why do people go to hell, for what, when the penalty is not there? On what sin when He atone for the sin?

God cannot judge His people in any way because His people have already been judged in Jesus. So according to you, our sins have been judged in Christ, then God changes His mind, and He judges us for the sins that He already judged His Son for?

When Christ drank the cup of God’s wrath he drank it to the dregs. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and that means on the final day and every day until then. God is never judging you for your sin if you are in Christ. Christ drank the cup of God's wrath fully, yet one can lose salvation and go to hell and suffer wrath of God. That makes 0 sense whatsoever.

God's wrath was justified on the cross, oh wait that person can still go to hell and suffer the wrath Jesus suffered, because His sacrifice was not enough according to you all that say salvation can be lost. He gave everything He had, He gave Himself, but you lot say 'no, it was not enough, we must add deeds'.

He died and rose from the dead. He died a death that essentially was the wrath of God on Him, not for any sins that He had done, for He had done none. But the Father imputed all the sins of all the people who had ever believed through all of human history to Christ and punished Christ all their sins. He died in the place of believers. His was the death for the sins of all who believe.

How do we know that His death satisfied God? Because God raised Him from the dead. God was satisfied, His wrath was propitiated, and God raised Christ from the dead as a divine affirmation of the satisfaction of His own sacrifice.

How is it that all of you say that salvation can be lost avoid answering 'how can a person end up in hell, when Christ offered a perfect sacrificed and God's wrath was justified? And that person then will suffer God's wrath for eternity? Why all of you keep avoiding this? Because you can't answer it, because it's false.

John 8, our Lord said, “You’re of your father the devil. You’re of your father the devil. He is your father. You are children of disobedience; you are children of wrath; you are children of Satan. That’s your family. But God has chosen you, predestined you to adoption as sons, according to the kind intention of His own will.” This is part of realizing the richness of salvation. We were a part of Satan’s family; but God has adopted us.

This only happens in Christ, in Christ. We are adopted, Ephesians 1 says, in His Son. “We are blessed” – verse 3 – “with all spiritual blessings in the heavenlies in Christ.” Verse 4: “He chose us in Him.” Verse 5: “Predestined to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself,” – verse 6 – “in the beloved,” – verse 7 – “in Him,” – and it goes on, verse 9 – “in Him,” – verse 10 – “in Him,” – verse 12 – “in Christ” – verse 13 – “in Him, in Him.”

God’s astounding love is the cause, the motive, the drive behind our adoption. He loves the Son, He places us in the Son, and He loves us the way He loves the Son. But then that person who God loves likes His Son will go to hell, even though Christ has adopted him, and purchased him with His own blood according to your logic.

All have the opportunity to choose whether or not to obey God:

"See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" Deut. 30:15-19

"And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him." Luke 7:29=30

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls." Acts 2:38-41

All have the opportunity to choose whether or not to obey God:
We are all spiritually dead, unable to save ourselves.
It's like being dead at the bottom of the ocean, Christ jumps in, gives you life and saves you. Being born again comes first.

I see you have failed to answer any of my questions, like all of you that say that salvation can be lost.

Having read through all of the answers here, I can see that there are many false teachers who are deceiving and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3.13. 2 Timothy 4.3-4.

I can also see that there are a few still preaching the whole truth, for which I thank God.

If you want the truth, JesusFollowerForever and Wansvic both provide comprehensive and well evidenced scriptural answers to this topic and those who upvote and support their answers attest to the truth.

If you follow their counsel in singleness of heart in obedience to Matthew 5, you shall receive your reward with the few, in paradise, in eternal life.

If however you want to walk through the wide gate on the easy road to your eternal destruction, where a vast multitude is going, there are many here giving counsel which will guarantee you do just that.

When you get there, you will remember reading these posts while you wail and gnash your teeth for eternity.

Matthew 13:49-50 KJV
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, [50] And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Hebrews 12:29 KJV
For our God is a consuming fire.

You mean those who preach that salvation can be lost are teaching the truth? Everyone who teaches salvation can be lost is saying that Jesus' death on the cross was enough.

Please explain to me, how can a born again Christian suffer God's wrath when Christ has satisfied God's wrath on the cross for every true believer?

God cannot judge His people in any way because His people have already been judged in Jesus. When Christ drank the cup of God’s wrath He drank it to the dregs. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and that means on the final day and every day until then. God is never judging you for your sin if you are in Christ.

So God has judged me in Christ, but then God is going to judge me for the things Christ already been judged for?

All of you who teach salvation can be lost are saying Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was not enough, but you are trying to add your own deeds. You are rejecting grace of God. Not by deeds but by grace we are saved.

You do not even know whether you will go to heaven or not. What if you have not done enough. Like what Islam teaches, do more good and it will increase the chance allah takes you to heaven, but you are not sure. It is the same. But the Scripture teaches of assurance of our salvation.

Most assuredly.

Luke 11:24-26 KJV
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. [25] And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. [26] Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

The evil spirit goes out of a man at the entry of Christ when he is born again.

The house is his body, the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6.19. When a man returns to the flesh and lives in it, after he is commanded to die in it, he is cast out as a reprobate. 2 Corinthians 13.5
God is never judging you for your sin if you are in Christ.
1 John 3:9 KJV
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
So God has judged me in Christ, but then God is going to judge me for the things Christ already been judged for?
Yes if you continue in sin. Christ was not judged for your sins in the new man.

Romans 3:25 KJV
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

SINS THAT ARE PAST

Hebrews 6:4-6 KJV
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, [5] And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, [6] If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
All of you who teach salvation can be lost are saying Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was not enough,
WRONG
You do not even know whether you will go to heaven or not.
WRONG
What if you have not done enough.
Jesus explained what will happen to you if you do not do enough. Matthew 25.18-30.

Don’t you believe him?

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
None of us live a perfectly sinless life. You do not lose your salvation the moment you sin. If you are a born again, Christ blood washed Christian, then your sins have been atoned for on the cross. Christ paid in full, not partially, if He paid partially, then our debt to God remains and we are all going to end up in hell. But because Christ paid in full, there is no debt for those who are in Christ, therefore those who are in Christ cannot go to hell.

If you are a born again Christian, that means Christ has satisfied God's wrath on the cross for you. There no longer remains wrath, so how can a Christian suffer God's wrath when Christ has satisfied God wrath? All of you who preach that salvation can be lost fail to address this, because you can't.

Moses sinned after he was saved, and yet he is in Heaven. So is Peter, David, Abraham. All who sinned after they have been saved. According to your logic, they are in hell, because they have sinned after being saved, but that is false.

So if it was enough and perfect, that how can a salvation be lost? It can't

Yes if you continue in sin. Christ was not judged for your sins in the new man.

Romans 3:25 KJV
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

If our future sins are not forgiven, then two things must happen: 1) when we sin in the future, we revert to an unforgiven state, meaning we lose our salvation and must be saved again, and 2) Christ must die again to cover the sins we’ve committed since His last death. Neither of these scenarios is biblical. We are kept by God, and thus our salvation is secure John 10:28–30; and Christ died “once for all” Hebrews 10:10.

From the cross, Jesus said, “It is finished!” John 19:30. No other sacrifice would ever be needed. Sin—all sin—had been atoned.

Take a look at first Abraham's covenant. God said 'I will do this, I will do that. It was one sided, Abraham was asleep. This is the covenant of grace. It is one sided.

Neither the present nor the future, . . . nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:38–39. The future cannot separate us from God’s love, even if there is sin in our future. So I ask, what will separate me from the love of God?

The Bible teaches that, after salvation, we continue to sin 1 John 1:8; 2:1. We won’t reach sinless perfection this side of glory. The power of sin is broken, but, because we are still flawed humans living in a fallen world, we still at times give in to temptation. Our future sins, although ultimately forgiven in Christ, should still be confessed to God 1 John 1:9. Unconfessed sin, a sign of a disobedient, stubborn heart, will bring the Father’s discipline on His children Hebrews 12:4–11.

Absolutely yes. You have to worry for the rest of your life if you lived a life good enough. But the Bible teaches us of assurance.

One day, will will stand in front of God. I will say that God has done for my salvation everything through His Son on the cross. You will say His Son has not done enough for you, and what mattered was how you lived as a Christian to achieve your salvation. You will boast in your deeds, but I will only boast in Christ.
