God`s Appointed Time for the Rapture.

God has given the `Times and Seasons` for us to know when it is His Appointed Time for the Rapture for the Body of Christ.

The Festival Season of Lights is fulfilled when the Lord returns to deliver Israel. That event is right in the middle of Israel`s 8 day festival – 29th Kislev.

Then the Feast of Purim is fulfilled when the Lord has overcome Israel`s enemies and they celebrate their National Deliverance – 15th Adar.

In between those two dates is the end of the 7 years – 29th Tevet.

If the 7 years starts in 2025 then when we count back 7 years from the 29th of Tevet and we come to the 12th of Adar. That is the 12th of March in our Solar Calendar. (see chart at the end of the book for Israel`s Lunar (moon) Calendar and our Solar (sun) Calendar.)

Knowing the seasons has helped us to gain an insight into when the 7 years start, and the Peace treaty will occur. If it is next year, 2025 then it will be 12th March.

Is there something more in God`s word to help us?

Yes, the prophet Joel`s prophecy which is very important. We read –

`Blow a trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the Day of the LORD is coming, for it is at hand.

A Day of darkness and gloominess, a Day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains, a people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations.` (Joel 2: 1 & 2)

It will take many days even weeks for this great army to gather, so huge is it. The media will be following its build up and journey towards Israel. This is our time to get ready to be caught away to be with the Lord.

May we all `watch` and be ready!

How hard is it to underastand for Christians that we ought not to calculate the day. Look, I too believe the rapture, and yes we are supposed to watch the seasons, however the Lord told us that we will not know the date and we should not calculate.

Live godly life and await Him everyday.

I do think we are near the End Days, but we can not calculate the year or even decade of the end times cos of Mark 13:32.

The day of Christ is not the rapture but the bema seat judgment of The Messiah. Which will happen after born again believer have been raptured up before the 7 year tribulation. The rapture happens before the tribulation, but the bema seat judgment happens after the man of sin is reveled

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. So what this set of verses are saying is the rapture (the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him) Has not happened because the day of Christ ( bema seat judgment of Jesus) has not happen because the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, (on earth) comes before the bema seat judgment (that Day) of Jesus that will happen in the clouds above the earth.

So the order of events will be
1. The rapture of born again children of God before the tribulation
2. The falling away, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, (on earth)
3. The day of Christ (bema seat Judgment of The Messiah of born again believers) happens in the clouds of the raptured believers. This judgment is a judgment for rewards of/for believers

Jesus promised His disciples that He would come again. John 14:1-3 says, “Let not your heart be troubled...In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” (Jesus is in heaven)

When Jesus returns great destruction happens and everything on planet earth is destroyed and the earth is left in a desolate state. This is how satan is bound (chained) for 1,000 years .... satan has nobody to tempt. All the lost dead are in the grave ... the saved are in heaven with the Lord.

Jesus is going to descend from the skies as visibly, as tangibly, as He ascended (see Acts 1:11). Revelation says, “Every eye will see him” (1:7). Paul tells us “the Lord Jesus [will be] revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels” (2 Thessalonians 1:7). And Peter says, “The heavens will disappear with a roar” and the earth will be burned up (2 Peter 3:10).

Everything needed for the salvation of mankind and the fulfilling of all covenants was completed by Jesus by His first coming. The door of salvation is open until His return ... after that the door is shut .... shut because He has made all judgement.

There is no reason for Him to rule on planet earth ... judgement has been made.

This is what NT apostolic teaching presents regarding the rapture:

Jesus locates the resurrection in the last day (John 6:39).
Paul locates the resurrection with the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Jesus locates the rapture with the second coming (Matthew 24:39-41).
Jesus locates the second coming with the judgment of the sheep and goats at the end of time (Matthew 25:31-33)?

So in terms of the time of their occurrence, the rapture occurs at the end of time:

the last day (end of time) = resurrection = second coming = rapture = final judgment of sheep and goats (all mankind)

All else is personal interpretation of "prophetic riddles not spoken clearly" (Nu 12:8), subject to more than one interpretation, and in disagreement with the authoritative NT apostolic teaching above.

Now who has said anything about the `day or hour`?

This thought is often quoted when speaking of the Lord`s return –

`the Lord will come as a thief in the night.`

`Behold, I am coming as a thief…` (Rev. 16; 15)

`…the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.` (1 Thess. 5: 2)

`Watch, therefore, for you know neither the day nor hour in which the Son of Man is coming.` (Matt. 25: 13)

However, this is not true for us. The Lord said to Israel He would come as a thief because they were in darkness. But when the Lord ascended to His Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to His believers and encouraged them that they were now not in darkness.

`But you, brethren, are not in darkness that this day should overtake you as a thief. You are sons of the light and sons of the day. ` (1 Thess. 5: 4 & 5)

And further that they would actually `see` the Day of the Lord approaching.

`Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching. ` (Heb. 10: 25)

In a general sense we know that things in the world are pointing to the Lord`s return – lawlessness, moral decay, wars and rumors of wars, more earthquakes, famines, diseases and people generally very fearful. Then there is the looming control of governments with individual ID`s (Identity) connecting to the CBDC, (Central Bank Digital Currency). This, especially in a chip in the body will enable governments to either authorize or not our buying and selling.

However, God`s word specifically says we will `see,` the day approaching.

Why 2025?

God`s word is clear when we read carefully and notice the details. The Prophet Joel has been given the word to warn Israel of the coming great army from the north. And this is when they will again be in their land. This appointed time will begin the Day of the LORD GOD in judgment upon the nations and deliverance for Israel.

Then for the Body of Christ we are told that we are not in darkness and that the Day of the LORD would not overtake us. Thus, the Prophet Joel gives us the very important detail that the great Northern army will come over Israel`s mountains at the very beginning of the Day of the LORD.

As the war in Gaza progresses the enemy deludes the people of the world into thinking that Israel is the perpetrator and the Arabs of Gaza the innocent ones. Many demonstrations are being held across the world and even Israel`s usual allies America and Great Britain are reluctant to keep supplying Israel with more arms.

Finally, when this war is over and there is peace in Israel, it will only be temporary for Israel`s enemies know that it is vulnerable and without the support of its allies.

Iran is breathing threats, but God will hold it off till He is ready to judge them. It is at this time when Israel is at peace that God will summons the great army to come down to Israel and be judged.

We see here that when the Lord comes to earth, to the Mount of Olives He comes with His Holy Angels to bring vengeance upon those of the nations who do not know God.

Big difference between the two: one to the clouds for the believers, and the other one to the earth for the rebellious nations.

What kind of argument is this?

What did the Lord command? To calculate the day? No

He commanded us to be good and faithful servants, obeying Him and worshipping Him everyday. He also told us He will come back for us. But not when. That means He can come any day. The Lord said the good servants will be the ones who serve Him. If He told us the date, people will 'serve' Him because they know He is coming. But the Lord wants genuine servants who love Him.

Live in a such way that you won't be embarrassed when He comes back. For example don't do sinful things, what if He comes and you are live in sin, then what? If you serve Him daily, you do not have to worry about when He comes.

Yes we can see where the World is going, and how the world will be before He comes.

But what are you going to do when He does not come on 29th Tevet? Do you wait until the 29th Tevet and then when He does not come, you are waiting another year? That must be tough life.

I admire you waiting for the Lord whole heartedly, I do too. And I too love eschatology and spend a lot of time studying it. But perhaps we should stick to the things that the Lord commanded us, and be good servants, and live Godly everyday. Then His return won't catch us off-guard.
