I don't think 'sophisticated, highly developed insight' always comes with maturity. But, as you say, they are adults and so must be given appropriate respect - not dismissed as if they were, say, children - or fools.

Young people are often very well informed, especially those who take the trouble to protest.
But you do understand the two main points that I'm suggesting, right?
  1. The first main point is that it is indeed possible for a poor, underdeveloped, and victimized state to be or become Fascist.
  2. That someone's amount of monies does not necessarily determine whether they should be viewed as 'victim' or 'aggressor', even though liberal thinkers teach socialist viewpoints based on those very principles.

The question in the thread seems to be about college protests.

If we look at Oxford, Yale, Harvard, USC... what do you think the protestors' "amount of monies" looks like?

These people are the elites (and future elites).

If your bold "protestors=fascists=Marxists" hypothesis is true, then these people should see themselves as the enemy.

Are Gaza Protests Happening Mostly at Elite Colleges?

Yup. The Washington Monthly runs the numbers and explains the results.

Many of the most high-profile protests have occurred at highly selective colleges, like Columbia University. But since the national media is famously obsessed with these schools and gives far less attention to the thousands of other colleges where most Americans get their postsecondary educations, it’s hard to know how widespread the campus unrest has really been.

When you separate out private and public colleges, the difference becomes even more stark, as the next chart demonstrates. At private colleges, protests have been rare, encampments have been rarer, and both have taken place almost exclusively at schools where poorer students are scarce and the listed tuition and fees are exorbitantly high.

It is wrong to conflate Pro-Palestine sentiments with Nazism.

Who says the seventeen students were anything to do with the Nazi symbols found in the college toilets? Actually, nobody in Oxford. This is got up here. There are fascists everywhere but they have absolutely no significance in the UK.

We have equal evidence (i.e. none) that it was Russians who are responsible for the graffiti.

Europe on high alert after suspected Moscow-linked arson and sabotage

Investigators have already alleged potential Russian involvement in an arson attack in east London, an inferno that destroyed the largest shopping mall in Poland, a sabotage attempt in Bavaria in Germany and antisemitic graffiti in Paris.

The encampments are set up to disrupt where the most wealth is. A direct attack!

...Organized by socialists, and played out by naive student actors.

Make up your mind. Are socialists behind the demonstrations, or as previously asserted, Nazis?

I don't know about American university towns, but I can tell you that Oxford is not where the most wealth is in this country. To describe a legally held political demonstration as a 'direct attack' is inflammatory.
