Do you expect a literal second coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ?
If you do, what do you anticipate it being like?
What do you make of this? His Second Coming will be just like the scriptures state…
Rev 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
His feet don’t touch the ground. This is very important because scripture indicates the devil will impersonate Jesus and will become an angel of light, but he can’t counterfeit God’s True Second Coming, so if we follow and know God’s Word, we won’t be deceived
1 Thes 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

This is referring to the second resurrection after the 1000 years with the saints. What do you make of this?
Zechariah 14:4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. 5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!
6 In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. 7 For it will be a unique day which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light.
8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.
9 And the Lord will be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.
10 All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses. 11 People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security.
Thanks. I take it, than, that you are a pre-Millenial Dispensationalist. This is referring to the second resurrection after the 1000 years with the saints.
The first resurrection is for the saints
1 Thes 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for [a]a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
At the close of the 1,000 years the holy city, new Jerusalem Revelation 21:2 comes down from heaven to the earth with all the saints Zechariah 14:1, 5 and the wicked dead of all ages are raised to life Revelation 20:5. They surround the city to capture it Revelation 20:9, but fire comes down from out of heaven and devours them. This fire purifies the earth and burns up all traces of sin 2 Peter 3:10, Malachi 4:3. Then God creates a new earth 2 Peter 3:13; Isaiah 65:17; Revelation 21:1 for the saints, and “God Himself will be with them and be their God” Revelation 21:3. God will wipe away all tears, no more sin or sinners, just the way God always planned it before the disease of sin entered.
Rev 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before [c]God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second [death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Perhaps consider instead of trying to place people in a box, show a biblical argument on how you disagree with the plain scriptures I provided.Thanks. I take it, than, that you are a pre-Millenial Dispensationalist.
2 Peter 3:10 NIV - But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
Revelation 6:14 - The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
Revelation 7:9 NIV "After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands."
Calculating the number of people who have ever lived is part science and part art. No demographic data exist for more than 99% of the span of human existence. Still, with some assumptions about population size throughout human history, we can get a rough idea of this number: About 117 billion members of our species have ever been born on Earth.
Matthew 24:36 NIV "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Indeed, I do!Do you expect a literal second coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ?
I expectIf you do, what do you anticipate it being like?
I don't disagree with you. I happen to be a pre-millenial Dispensationalist myself. If you don't like the label, then you probably will need to provide evidence that it does not actually apply to you.Perhaps consider instead of trying to place people in a box, show a biblical argument on how you disagree with the plain scriptures I provided.
I believe in one salvation- we are either saved or lost and scriptures shows what happens to both groups.
I guess miracles do happen.I don't disagree with you.
Yes - just like scripture states.Do you expect a literal second coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ?
