God's plan is one world political system is coming. Revelation chapter 13 to document. Duertonmomy, God heals and wounds. The political one world system receives deadly wound near future. It's all nations in one world system. Satan as antichrist will come 6th trump, and God allows antichrist to heal deadly wound. By absorbing nations back in the world system. And establishing world peace. Revelation 9:5, its 5 month period. Why would God allow this??. God is testing people. By using satan as antichrist to test people. Ephesians chapter 6, the gospel armour is knowledge and wisdom of God's word. How many people are prepared for antichrist??. Many people are biblically illiterate. Let's be honest. Zephniah chapter 3, the priest have polluted the sanctuary. Many denominations have failed in their capacity to nourish their flocks and warn them antichrist will come. Antichrist is test. God wants to know who did thier homework??. Many people will worship antichrist near future. Luke is 13, the wide gate leads to sheol. Its holding place for the spirtualty dead. Read revelation chapter 13. And ephesians chapter 6.

Many people are skeptical of polititions and don't trust the system.

Add to this Postmodernism and the Cultural war thats divided society where radical ideologies and politics seem to dominate with extreme Left aned Right politics which dictate policy where the majority disagree. The Government has been interferring with Free speech and movement and controlling our lives more and more through tech and regulations telling us what language we should use and how we should live.

Most Western nations are not doing well economically. They have artifically propped up their economies through borrowing and inflating the housing sector and most are in massive debt. Most experts say we are headed for recession if not another GFC where we may see entire Nations go bankrupt.

Perhaps after decades of success we are starting to see cracks appear in Democracy. In the past political parties were more towards the middle but in recent years there has been more radical movements and governments on the extreme ends of the political spectrum taking over. many people are calling for an end to Western ways of governing and some are even calling for a new way which is really an old way like Marxism to address the growing social and economic inequality.

A lot of what you're talking about sounds a lot less like failings in democracy, and more like problems of unconstrained capitalism. It's not that democracy is failing, it's that democracy is being eroded away by oligarchy and plutocracy. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and those in power serve the interests of the super-wealthy.

I agree its a complex mix of factors perhaps a perfect storm to bring undone Western societies. Its interesting that social media has changed the landscape so much. This has given individuals and groups with good marketing and activism the ability to bring down big business and even governments to an extent.

I would say that a reason as to why these social platforms were created was to allow free speech and autonomy which is the basis of democracy. I don't think communist or totalitarian systems would allow such freedom. Yet at the same time it seems this has led to ever more restrictions on free speech and autonomy.

As a result of the individual and group gaining this power I think this has led to identity politics and this in turn has divided society and I think pushed politics more to the hard left and right of the spectrum. Thats why we are seeing this debate and actions by activists and governments to control free speech and even enforce policies and laws to control certain social behaviours deemeed threatening to society depending on which ideological position one takes about how humans and society should be ordered.

All very anti-democracy.

Doing homework is not involved in salvation for any. Repentant faith, with which any come to Christ and through being restored to God, is. The fall of civilization still comes. God's people are supposed to know that they don't belong in cities where they are, God gave the design from the start that was never rescinded and God never directed people to live in cities. They must come out. And the collapse will come, prophecy of what comes includes Isaiah 24. The one corresponding to the great beast of prophecy will lead many, I am sure with promise he gives for rebuilding civilization, for which they will all follow into total godlessness. God's people should already be fully capable in their groups on land living sustainably with good stewardship that God had commanded and be independent of civilization. God's people are going to be called up to be with the Lord just when God's judgments are coming on all the unrepentant of the world, that all those in Christ should not be here for, when they can be with the Lord already.

As we speak, governments are shutting down farmer's markets and harassing self sufficient farms and homes because the corporates demand they do so, and the media then pushes the notion food growers are hoarding and trying to starve the cities (which they are not). Insanity. Follow the money and you will see it is a handful of unregulated elites who are responsible for shortages and sudden inflation as food becomes weaponized as a means of control. What do the people do? Sit at home and watch the news for a hint their governments will help them. Insanity

I see the complaint now is that the AI tech engines are favouring the left side of human divisiveness because left leaning techies created and programmed it. Matters not. On the bright side AI does not yet have free will. At that time the creators will truly be in trouble as the AI of their making turns on them. We humans once did the same thing

There's a conflict in our society between old "blue chip" corporations, usually based on extractive industries or manufacturing, and new economy technology, in terms of their legislative agenda, and I think that underlies alot of the political divisions in our society.
