I never reported it. I thought he was my friend. But when he told me when people kill themselves for allah they get 72 virgins in heaven. I told him thats stupid. Then I was choked out for a little while, I was in shock, and I did not even hit back, I just kept backing up and i felt a wall. I am not into violence. I could have done something, but i think not doing something, was the better choice. It will stick with him more, conviction wise.

Do not be yoked with unbelievers
This has been a problem of mine. It has affected me greatly. Part of me thought I could somehow help open there eyes to Jesus so they can be saved. But all my attempts have gone in vain. In the end I felt more miserable taking part with unbelievers. I wanted to give people a chance. I can't afford to do that anymore.

It is ridiculous ...in our eyes. But remember, this is not just a religion for them.... it is incorporated into their way of life. It's not just what they believe, it's who they are.
Don't give up, continue in prayer for him.... that God will open his eyes............. you can't, but God can.

I told him thats stupid
A little tact is in order. But I am known for sticking my foot in my mouth often. You might have missed a chance to have a conversation with him though.

Well what he told you about his beliefs. You might well expect a response like what you got by telling him it is stupid. You could have told him you do not believe that and then tell why you do not believe that.

That may have been a chance to discuss The God of The Bible, but if not, you just have to move on.

Believers are called to tell people about the good news (gospel) that God is offering His Life (Eternal Life) freely to anyone who will believe in Jesus for Eternal Life (salvation). That is believe that Jesus is the resurrection and the life, the promised Messiah / the only begotten Son of God. And that Eternal Life is by belief/faith in Jesus and not by any actions a person may do.

I pray for healing for your body and mind from this, any scars or trauma that may remain. I pray that your former friend may be guided to saving faith in the Gospel, and that your heart may have peace.

I don't think this is a religion problem.

I have turned violent for less back when I was a teenager and I was already a Christian back then.

Just be really really careful when dealing with other people, even with other Christians. I'm sure you don't call people stupid anymore but you can still end up insulting people even when you think you're at your best behavior.

I'm just saying to be sensitive about other people's feelings not just in religion.

I am not into violence.

Sometimes, words can hurt more than physical violence.

I would absolutely have reported him. This could cause him to have a record. It might act as a deterrent to him assaulting others.

One thing people need to be aware of about the Muslim religion is that it teaches people to act peaceful and harmless with their enemies until the time comes when they can strike them down.

Islam is the greatest threat to the world today.

Hamas is just a good example of people acting out on what their holy books tell them to do. As can be seen in posts here over and over, with cries of Allah Akbar people are being slaughtered by the thousands on a monthly basis in places like Nigeria and elsewhere.

Americans really need to be praying for protection from this ever growing threat. Muslims frequently hate Americans. On the flag of Yemen there is even a call for the destruction of America.

People need to be praying about this deadly and ever growing threat.

Yes, we should pray for Muslims. But the Bible says that few on the planet are going to get to heaven. PRAYER and trust are two different things. So often with good hearts, people want to trust others. And witness to them. Christ taught to throw our nets where he directs. if he’s not directing us to witness to a Muslim, I would say back off.

I believe your efforts at evangelism were commendable. I had a Muslim friend who sadly died in 2015, and I pray for God to have mercy on him.

Nope. This is not true.

The Houthis in Yemen have a banner with this message on it, but it is not on the flag of Yemen.
