The Glory of God.

The King of Glory -

`Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up you everlasting doors! And the King of Glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of Glory. ` (ps. 24: 8 - 10)

God the Father `seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, FAR ABOVE all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that WHICH IS TO COME. And He put ALL things under His feet...` (Eph. 1: 20 - 22)

`I have set my King on My holy hill of Zion.` (Ps. 2: 6)

Ruling with His Body

`To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne...` (Rev. 3: 21)

in the third heaven over all God`s great kingdom.

`Behold a throne set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.` (Rev. 4: 2 & 3)

Emerald - tribe of Reuben - firstborn - Heir.

Jasper - tribe of Naphtali - to prevail, conquer.

Sardius - tribe of Judah - to use the hand, power and dominion.

The gem stones were on the Highpriest`s breastplate.



Jesus is the Heir, the conqueror and Kingpriest on the highest throne in all of God`s great kingdom.

The Glory of the New Jerusalem

`the New Jerusalem…having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper, clear as crystal. ` (Rev. 21: 11)

Jasper gemstone - tribe of Naphtali - to prevail, conquer.

Jesus prevailed over the enemy. (Rev. 5: 5)

In the lower heavens

`Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God,…` (Rev. 21: 2)

`…now they (Old Testament saints) desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. ` (Heb. 11: 16)

Ruling over the earth.

`And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and honour into it. ` (Rev. 21: 24)



Jesus, the conqueror, has His rulership in the city, the New Jerusalem, with the Old Testament saints over the kings and nations of the earth.

The Nations

`And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light…` (Rev. 21: 24)

These are NOT the Body of Christ for they are the Ekklesia, the called out ones from the nations (& Israel).

These `nations of those who are saved,` are those from –

The people of the nations who never heard of Jesus but lived their life knowing God from His creation and living according to their God-given conscience. They were judged according to the motives. (Rev. 20: 13)



The Great Multitude that no one can count. (Rev. 7: 9 & 14) They have `palm branches` in their hands, indicating the Feast of Tabernacles. And the fulfillment of that is when the New Jerusalem comes down to the lower heavens and shines its light, the glory of God over the earth and the nations walk in its light.



and the Kings of the earth

In every realm of God`s great kingdom He has rulership under Christ.



walk in the light (glory) of the heavenly city.

`And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honour into it. ` (Rev. 20: 24)

The light of the glory of God is via the Lord`s rulership through those in the New Jerusalem.

` ..the holy Jerusalem, descending out of (third) heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. ` (Rev. 21: 10 & 11)
