Ways to witness

I'll share my own methodology for witnessing to others on forums.

I look for threads where I know I can make a difference; show a scriptural perspective that hasn't been presented yet, or that has been overlooked; come at it from a different perspective. Witnessing through forum posts/replies is my main method of study, as the subject matter isn't selected by me, it has already been posted by someone else. Taking on a subject and answering it requires me to dig into scripture. I always learn new insights while researching for my post.

The more threads you participate in, the more you learn through study. Always keep it about what scripture says, and not your own opinion on the subject. Address the subject matter, and not the person posting the subject. The more you focus on the person, the more chances of you going off the rails and it devolving into a personal situation. I'm speaking of how threads devolve into personal attacks, not threads where people need an empathetic/sympathetic and helpful ear, and advice.

Well with anything online you would need people to go to what ever you are using example: Blog, website, etc..

So that would be the biggest part to consider.

As the message about how to receive God's free gift of Eternal Life is a simple message. To receive God's free gift of Eternal Life, trust in Jesus The Messiah for Eternal Life salvation. With a few verses from The Gospel of John stating this truth, John 11: 25,26,27 is a good one.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

You can do that right here. There's plenty of people who go onto CF who aren't saved. Then just regular social media. Even YouTube if you're okay with being filmed. I watched a simple gospel message video that had like 18 million views.

I've never seen anyone saved online, ever, from any site or information.
Only once I saw someone question what they had previously thought, and they went away , years ago, to find out, and shortly returned and said they found out that what they had previously believed was false, and were glad they found out the truth.

You could set up a Facebook business page, and make posts. These posts can be sent out to people via paid advertising. I did this for a number of years. I saw a few healings, and a salvation. Many others received the gospel message.

Find a forum that covers a subject your interested in. Get a feel for the place and put a piece of scripture in your signature and let the Holy Spirit do all the work.
What subjects are you interested in?
