Liz Harris, who was recently elected to represent District 13 in the East Valley, says that she will not vote in the state legislature unless the election is redone.

Despite winning her own election, Harris alleges that there were "clear signs of foul play" which necessitated her demands. There has been no evidence of this.

It's not the first time that Harris has been involved in trying to overturn the results of an election.

After losing to incumbents Jennifer Pawlik (D) and Jeff Weninger (R) in the 2020 general election, Harris began a "Grassroots Canvass Report" to investigate baseless allegations of voting errors in order to decertify the results of both the state legislature and presidential elections.

An interesting way to lose, without losing.

I read the link, and it doesn't mention something important: In Maricopa County, untabulated ballots got mixed in with a box of tabulated ballots. The result was no one knew if all the ballots in the box were tabulated or not.

This raises a question: were the total ballots in that box enough to swing the election either way. If not, it's something that should be investigated by Arizona, but not anything that affected the outcome of the race. If it was enough to affect the outcome of the election, then I still know don't know what Arizona could do about it. It would depend on their laws.

As to the machines, it's interesting that the machines worked when tested the day before, then worked well about the first half hour before running into problems. That sound like straight up Murphey's Third Law.

I don't know who said it, but:

Just being honest i don't trust either side of the political spectrum, i truly would not be surprised if when the books are opened Jesus reveals the corruption on both sides of the isle. It amazes me when people think their political party is completely spotless and the opposite party is bad.

That’s why I support Trump. With all the Dems and several Republicans against him, he can’t be wrong on everything… like we’re experiencing now.

Good. That's one less Republican vote in the Arizona House. I look forward to her permanent abstention.

...speaking of foolishness:

Supervisors in Mohave County in western Arizona on Monday refused to certify the results of the 2022 election, delaying the decision in what some called a "political statement" to show dissatisfaction with how the election was run in the Phoenix area.

The supervisors agreed to reconvene Nov. 28 to reconsider certifying the results for the county that includes Lake Havasu City and Kingman. State law requires counties to canvass their elections by that date.

"It's a political statement. I'm not going to lie," Mohave Supervisor Hildy Angius said before the board voted 3-2 to delay until Monday, the last day allowed by law for counties to certify.

I looked into it, and while it appears something of the sort occurred, Maricopa has officially reconciled the counted vote with the votes cast (as part of their usual processes), so the count is accurate.

Well be nice if all voted. Not up on this one but.. all have a right to have recount... but that's if its to close to call.

Just gets silly.. I wouldn't want just Rep to vote. The more divided we stand the harder we fall. What made this nation great strong powerful was when we the people came together.
