Your friends experiences are not indicative of a country wide problem. I had problems with State Troopers when I was young. I can't extrapolate and say most State Troopers target young people and abuse their authority. The world is not limited to you and your friends. There are cops that are like that and when I was in law enforcement I hated them because they make the job more difficult for those who do it right.

So biblically, you are better off, this administration is doing a better job adhering to scripture, but then again, we should base our government off empirical facts rather than a many hundreds of times edited 2,000+ year old book.

There are a LOT of cops like that. My town had half its police force fired at once for drug running. Another town a coworker worked as a cop in had their entire police force disbanded for corruption and abuse. I'm not a subscriber to ACAB, but there are a LOT of bad actors in a job with responsibilities that cannot afford to have that issue. If you lose faith in your police, your society can fall apart. That is rarely the fault of those who lose faith in them, but in the officers that demolish it, and those who fail to hold them accountable and fix the issues.

Are you a Bible believing born again Christian? Because I believe that's who he addressed the post to. If you are I apologize it's against the rules to say someone who makes the claim is not.

I got out of law enforcement because of corruption. It exists but personal anecdotes are not proof of a widespread problem.

Supporting a woman's right to choose does not make one "pro-abortion". To be pro abortion, you would need to be promoting it and encouraging more women to have abortions. Rather, we see that abortions have pretty steadily declined in the US since the '80s.
