Well, fellow reality-based science folks (aka evolution accepters), our reign is coming to an end..

That amazing clearinghouse for Intelligent Design Science - BIO-Complexity - listed their amazing evolution-overturning output for the year 2020. We are so screwed:

I'm missing the connection with ID. Maybe the last one implies that the solar system has been designed to facilitate space travel. That's drawing an extremely long bow trying to couple it to ID: 'If the planet was any bigger, we wouldn't be able to get off! Therefore...God'.

Here's a better one. Do you know the odds of everyone on the planet having exactly the right amount of skin to cover their bodies? It's 7.8 bazzilion x 10 to the the power of 14.8 gazzillion. Therefore...God.

These ID people, they're just not that bright. Especially the "professionals".

First we had to overcome these odds:

1 in 10 to the 89,900th* power.

Your source doesn't understand the evolutionary process. Or they do and they are lying to you. You need better sources AV.

At one point there was no life. Then there was life - so the odds, by definition, are 1:1

There is a lot of research going into chirality. One of the important questions being asked is "is chirality a requirement for life or a consequence of life?" Your source has assumed it is a requirement without any justification. It is known that certain peptides and amino acids of one chirality will cause the same chirality in other peptides and amino acids. That's one possibility for escaping the racemic mixing problem.

You may already know this - BIO-Complexity has had this kind of problem since day 1. A handful of essays, mostly re-written web essays by the 'superstars' of IDC. Then... zip... They got mocked - deservedly. Then, out of the blue, about maybe 5 years ago? - they had a list of over 100 articles! But upon closer inspection, it was pretty much anything published by anyone associated with ID, even if they had nothing at all to do with ID. It was a pretty hollow antic, easily seen through by anyone of moderate intellect.

A creationist computer scientist. Shocker... He must use the same math as the righty economist that declared Biden's chance of winning due to mail-in ballots was 1 in a quadrillion...

'Active information' appears to be the new IDC buzz-concept. Creationists are so cute - they invent a new term, consider it a scientific done-deal, then expound on how bad it is for evolution.

Of note, Bartlett is the computer programmer creationist "Crevo", who has like 3 or 4 creationist websites (or used to) and who once declared that if humans had actually evolved, it would have needed a million or more beneficial mutations just to get a pelvis that was right for bipedal locomotion. I asked him to name 10 specific traits that had to be altered to allow this, how many beneficial mutations each would have would have needed, and how he knew.
And can you imagine my surprise when he could not name a single one?

That's one thing about creationists I don't care for.

They try and try to make it sound sciency, and end up getting pwned with the very science they think is going to support them.

Oh, you know biblical numbers, 1,000,000 mutations, 1000
soldiers slain by b Samson, they all come to an even number of zeros. Even Pi

Im curious!
Now if there was a natural space elevator between the Earth and the Moon, or ready made satellites with inscriptions in Hebrew or 17th century English they might have a point.

Kinda like this?

Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

Yes, sorta. Except that was a dream.
