Also, you still haven't answered the question about what other security measures were supposed to have been used. You can't use Portland as an example, because they tried those measures, and they failed.

In the face of threats to the lives and property of ordinary Americans, the police stand down. In fact, when those, citizens defends themselves, it is they who end up facing criminal charges. It’s as if the law has taken up the cause of the criminals to protect them from law-abiding citizens.

When political are worried about their safety, no force is excessive...

We're not entirely allowed to shoot whoever we like and we're not allowed to riot our way into the Congress to overturn elections we don't like.

Apparently it is okay for an officer to fire a gun into a crowd if Democrat politicians feel they are being threatened. But if it is a Republican, it is a different story.

Send in unarmed social workers. That is what the whole "defund the police" movement was arguing for. Something about poorly trained police officers who are too trigger happy.

Is that what happened? How do you know her intention was to "assassinate" elected officials. She was unarmed. Watching the video footage (that I cannot post) you will see capital police standing in front of the doors until the elected officials were safely removed. It was after the elected officials were gone, she was shot.

Congressional security does not have CXgas as standard equipment nor does that hallway have a loading dock to accommodate vans. With what they had available, a barricaded door and sidearms, what should congressional security have done in the situation they faced?
