You need to understand that Trump wasn't actually draining the swamp (as in fighting corruption). This was all about financially benefitting Trump

Trump IS the swamp :)

Unlike the deepstate swamp, the military might at least be willing to uphold the constitution. I guess those who have fought for their country tend to value America and its constitution more than the deepstate swamp does.
What you're hoping for is a banana republic-like junta. Fortunately, most military will uphold the constitution rather than the legally, fairly, recently ousted president.

Your "guess would be"? Four years later and you haven't so much as read their report on how they discovered this cheating? Have you not even read the executive summary?

That is the issue, there is no "report." The commission quietly disbanded, without issuing a report, after they failed to find election fraud. There was a preliminary report, and "documents show there was a “pre-ordained outcome” and that drafts of a commission report included a section on evidence of voter fraud that was “glaringly empty.”

I heard the report was released and they found that there were 65,853,514 illegally cast votes in 2016.

If you believe that voter fraud occurred during this election, keep praying and have faith. I know that it looks hopeless, but God has performed miracles before and he'll keep performing miracles. Pray for a miracle and have faith. It's not over until the 20th. Praise the Lord!
What kind of miracle would need to take place in order to make Mr. Trump our next president on January 20th? I am affraid of your answer.

Several States, (including those of the Chair and vice chair), told the commission that their state laws forbad the relinquishing of voter roll information...apparently this pesky fact was not known to the person who had set up the commission, finding out the hard way that he wasn’t King.

Trump IS the swamp :)

Here's the thing.

There is a swamp in DC that pre-dates Trump. Our political arena is chock-full of corruption.

However, Trump is at least as corrupt, and clearly more obviously so. He is brazenly corrupt, and it's laughable that the man who made his money through lies and deception (and, of course, inheritance) was going to "drain the swamp" in a meaningful way in terms of fighting corruption in government.

This is true.
RBG’s dissent in the Citizens United case foresaw the unfettered access that money (the “donor-class”) would have over legislators’ constituents.
Prescient.

What Christian persecution are you talking about?

A certian sort of American Christian considers it persecution when they are denied special priveledges or when they do not get their way.

Is that really your best response?

You need to understand that for President Donald Trump, this isn't just about winning, he has a lot of skin in the game, his own, and his family's. From the moment he won in 2016, there was no going back. Winning in 2016 meant that draining the swamp was a do or die mission. Having seen the way the opposition attempted again and again to remove him from office, it was obvious that even if he lost in 2020, or didn't stand for election again, they would never leave him alone. If he fails to drain the swamp, he will spend the rest of his life fighting to keep himself and his family out of prison. Not because he's done anything wrong, at least certainly not more than an average president, but because the Left are unbelievably vindictive.

God bless America!
I believe you mean the only twice impeached, seditionist, soon to be ex president Donald Trump.

Now he can go back to running businesses into the ground instead of the Country.

But remember that God can work with the results no matter the fraud and corruption level (including videos of ballots pulled out from under tables and processed while voting monitors are absent) -- and God can work no matter the inauguration on the 20th -- to bring about the changes He wants to see in His own time.
Man, I miss the days so long ago when we were hearing that God wants us to support our leaders. Weird how that suddenly changed once a far-right politician lost an election.

President Donald Trump knew that the opposition cheated in 2016
Given that he had to create a voter fraud commission to try and find the evidence for this claim (which they utterly failed to do, I'll add) I'm not sure that "knew" is the correct term. Believed, perhaps. Lied about, more likely.

It is sad that a grown man can't accept that he lost the election. But that doesn't create any sort of obligation in the rest of us to play along with his let's-play-pretend time.

Lot’s of people have bought into the Big Lie. Lot’s of people are gonna be really disappointed in about a day and a half.
But on the other hand, after all these months "next Wednesday" finally lives up to its billing?

Who are we hoping for to help us, here and now? What person is our hope put in?

With faith, we put our trust in the Lord, and that means we listen to Him

Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.

Psalm 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save.

Jeremiah 17:5 This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind, who makes the flesh his strength and turns his heart from the LORD.

Believers have no choice -- we must not put our hope and devotion in a mortal man -- not Trump, not a preacher, not a bishop, not an economist or a philosopher, not ideas or movements, not popes or kings...no mortal man -- but only in the Lord, alone!

Who do you really believe in?

I think that changed when a black man won the presidency and half the country went nutso.

Oh am I?

Am I vindictive like calling up republican election officials with death threats over Trump not winning?

Perhaps I'm vindictive like having the brother of a man who testified against me reassigned?

Or vindictive like immediately turning on anyone who does not show the proper obsequiousness?

Should I hold that mirror a bit higher?
