Yes it would be a shame for a Christian to vote for another Christian who personally opposes abortion and is in favor of policies which would reduce it, rather than a person who really doesn't care one way or another about it but who promises to enable passing punitive and basically unenforceable laws against it. Virtue signaling is of prime importance to Christians.
The decline of abortions here in the US has been happening since Reagan. The rate of decline of the number of abortions is greater under Democratic administrations (generally thought to be because Democratic administrations have national policies that make abortions less necessary as opposed to Republican administrations that merely try to make abortion illegal).

While I am throwing out questionable facts about Mr Schwarzenegger's accent he was also supposedly not allowed to do the german dub of his dialogue in The Terminator as his accent is more rural and would be like having someone with a thick southern accent doing the english dub of a foreign film character.
