How is it a labor law to set aside one day a week to rest, the day God made holy from creation Genesis 2:3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Resting and keeping holy the day God instructed, is not labor. It's the opposite.

God commanded us to keep holy his seventh-day Sabbath. Exodus 20:8-11 The day He asked, not the one changed by man. Jesus kept the Sabbath and the Sabbath will be kept on the new earth Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.

The Bible is very clear on which day is God's holy day. He even warned us it would be changed:

Daniel 7:25 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws.

The 4th commandment is the only commandment that is both a law and a time. As predicted in the Bible, was changed by man. The good news is we have a choice- do we follow the traditions of man or what God has instructed for us as His weekly seventh day Sabbath.

God bless

If 1 Corinthians 16:1-4 was speaking about the start of a new tradition that you think we should continue to follow, then that means that you should be setting aside money for Jerusalem on the 1st day of each week. However, there is nothing that states that this was a something that continued after Paul came and carried their gift to Jerusalem. In Acts 2:46, it says that on every day they were attending the temple together and were breaking bread in their homes, so there is nothing about obeying God's command to keep the 7th day holy that prohibits meeting or worshiping God on other days. However, 1 Corinthians 16:1-4 says nothing about it being a day of worship to honor the resurrection or about it being a day of worship that was in place obeying God's command to keep the 7th day holy. In Mark 7:6-9, Jesus criticized the Pharisees as being hypocrites for setting aside the commands of God in order to establish their own traditions, so the way to worship God does not involve disobeying His commands.

In the Bible, days started in the evening, so the 1st day of the week starts on Saturday evening at sundown. Jews have a longstanding tradition of meeting at the closing of the Sabbath on the 1st day of the week on Saturday at sundown for a Havdalah service to welcome in the work week. Jews do not traditionally handle money on the Sabbath, so this was also a time when they collected offerings, so collecting offerings on the 1st day of the week was not a departure from what they normally did. On the contrary, the fact that they were collecting offerings on the 1st day is evidence that they were continuing to keep the 7th day holy, while collecting offerings on the 7th day is what would be evidence that they had stopped keeping the 7th day holy.

So this passage does not establish that they had met on Sunday mornings, and even if they had, it does not establish that it was part of a day of worship, and even it if was, it does not establish that it was the start of a new tradition that continued after Paul carried their gift to Jerusalem, and even if it was, it does not establish that they hypocritically set aside God's command to keep the 7th day holy in order to establish their own tradition of having a day of worship on the 1st day, and even if they did, it does not establish that we should follow their example of sin.

Soyeong: "If 1 Corinthians 16:1-4 was speaking about the start of a new tradition that you think we should continue to follow, then that means that you should be setting aside money for Jerusalem on the 1st day of each week. However, there is nothing that states that this was a something that continued after Paul came and carried their gift to Jerusalem."

I had trouble getting past the first two sentences of your post. It's not what I think, it is what the Apostles commanded New Testament churches to do. You speculate that this would be a "new tradition." No, it's not.

The sensible interpretation of this passage is that the Corinthians and Galatians were doing what ALL of the churches that Paul wrote to in the Epistles were doing: worshiping on Sunday. It is quite natural that they would do so in memory of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on that day, the most extraordinary event in the history of the world.

The obvious interpretation is that the Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Phillippians, Colossians and Thessalonians were all worshiping on Sunday. When did they start doing this? They started meeting on Sunday the first time they met for worship. This is not a "new tradition." There never was any other tradition.

If you don't believe that the Roman, Corinthian, Galatian, Ephesian, Philippian, Colossian and Thessalonian Christians met on Sunday, and did from the start, the burden of proof is on you. I Corinthians 1-4 is strong evidence that the Corinthians and Galatians did. It wasn't something new. It wasn't something that needed a ponderous explanation. It didn't need explaining.

What verse supports this SDA notion that Roman, Ephesian, Philippians, Colossian, and Thessalonian Christians ever met on Saturday? There is none.

The SDA say that God is determined to destroy people who go to church on the wrong day of the week. There is no scripture to support that position.

a lot of Christians now that God is opposed to sin.
a lot of Christians know that John was correct to say "sin IS transgression of the Law" 1 John 3:4
a lot of Christians know we will not be sinning in heaven
a lot of Christians know that Jeremiah defines the New Covenant in Jer 31:31-34
a lot of Christians know that the Law of God known to Jeremiah and his readers included the TEN
a lot of Christians know that God's Law is not up for editing - by the traditions of man.

a lot of Christians know that Paul was correct in Eph 6:1-2 to say that in that still valid unit of TEN - the 5th commandment is "the first commandment with a promise" is the 5th commandment

These are the sorts of statements we see SDAs making on this forum.

We keep getting the question: When was the sabbath abolished?

The question contains some serious misconceptions. The real question is what requirements were placed on gentile Christians, on non-Jews joining the Christian Church. T .

well they were not supposed to take God's name in vain as every knows ... and they were to love God with all their heart - even though those commandments are not found in Acts 15.

Another problem with the question "When was the sabbath abolished?" is that is assumes that the Ten Commandments set aside a day of worship.

"from Sabbath to Sabbath shall ALL MANKIND come before Me to worship" Is 66:23 for all eternity after the cross in the New Earth

The 7th day Sabbath is a day of "Holy Convocation" Lev 23:3

So then in the NT - "EVERY Sabbath" Acts 18:4 they assembled for "more gospel preaching" in the Synagogues - both gentiles and Jews.

Not one "Every week-day-1 assemble for more gospel preaching" in the NT

According to God's Word (not mine), Gods people after the death and resurrection of JESUS worshiped God EVERY DAY as well as keeping God's Sabbath according to the 10 commandments...

Acts of the Apostles 2:46-47 [46], And THEY, CONTINUING DAILY WITH ONE ACCORD IN THE TEMPLE, AND BREAKING BREAD FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE, DID EAT THEIR MEAT WITH GLADNESS AND SINGLENESS OF HEART,[47], Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Unbelieving Jews also went to temple and kept the Sabbath. This was not done as a christian assembly.

And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

As well as meeting together daily and breaking bread they also kept God's seventh day Sabbath commandment of the 10 commandments according to the scriptures *Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Revelation 1:10)

Now we know that God's people meeting daily with one accord does not make every day a Holy day the same as there is not a single scripture that says God's Sabbath commandment of the 10 commandments is abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday or the first day of the week as a Holy day.

So please tell us dear friend, where does it say in the scriptures you have provided above to support your tradition of Sunday worship that God's Sabbath commandment of the 10 commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day?

You have no scripture to support your tradition now do you? This is all we are pointing out here. Of course you are free to believe as you wish. For me though only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God *Matthew 15:3-9; Romans 3:4; Acts of the Apostles 5:29.

Something to pray about.
Your response here...

How does your response here respond to the post and the scriptures you responding to? - It doesn't. What has unbelieving Jews have to do with believing Christians?

That was my response to that posts remarks of the same. They were not going there to assemble as the assembly in Christ. They were evangelizing.

You did not read what you were responding to did you. Scripture please. Where does it say they were not going to the temple and house to house to worship and give thanks to God and fellowship with each other?

Please respond to my full post above dear friend, instead of part quoting me please. Your posting comments as a distraction on something I have never disagreed with while ignoring the post and scripture content that proves God's people met everyday and not just on Sunday while keeping Gods 4th commandment according to the scriptures. While you have no scripture that says Gods 4th commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. This of course we all know is a man-made teaching and tradition that is not a biblical one given to us from the same people that gave us Christmas and Easter which all have their origin in paganism and sun-worship. Something to pray about I guess. JESUS says in his own words if we knowingly follow man-made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God we are not following God in Matthew 15:3-9. As posted to others that question we should all ask ourselves is who am I following; God or man? JESUS is calling his people out from following man-made teachings and traditions back to the pure Word of God. Many it seems are called but few are chosen.

Either those four listed laws are an exhaustive list of everything that would ever be required of a mature Gentile believers, or they are not, and the moment you try to make exceptions that other laws should be included is the moment that the list no longer holds any power to limit which laws Gentiles should follow. So that would exclude most of what Jesus taught, including the greatest two commandments. If you exclude the Ten Commandments, then you are saying that Gentiles are free to take God's name in vain, to break the Sabbath, to dishonor their parents, to commit murder, to steal, to bear false witness, and to covet.

It seems pretty clear to me that those four laws are not an exhaustive list of everything that would be required for mature Gentile believers (1 Corinthians 6:9-10), but rather as stated, it was a list intended not to make things too difficult for new believers coming to Christ, which they excused in Acts 15:21 by saying that they would continue to learn about Moses every Sabbath in the synagogues, which implies that they were already keeping the Sabbath holy in obedience to God's command. Jesus set a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Mosaic Law, he did not hypocritically preach something other than what he practiced, and the way to follow him is by following his example (1 Peter 2:21-22) and by walking in the same way he walked (1 John 2:6), not by refusing to follow what he taught by word and by example.

To use an analogy, when an employer hires a new employee, they don't want to overwhelm them by making them memorize everything that they will every need to know about how to do their job on day one, but rather they start with just the basics with the understanding that they will continue to learn the rest on the job. With many Gentiles coming out of paganism who were unfamiliar with Christianity, in order to avoid overwhelming them, it became important to get on the same page about which things needed to be taught right away and which things could be taught over time as they matured in their faith.
Maybe you should go to synagogue and learn about being a Noachide or righteous gentile like Noah. The laws of Noachide had many universal laws, which Moses law retained. Or as the new testament says was additional law.

No need. I follow the bible which teaches if we knowingly follow man-made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God we are not following God in 1 John 2:3-4; Matthew 15:3-9. For me only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it *Romans 3:4; Acts of the Apostles 5:29.

Christ set a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Mosaic Law and he did not hypocritically preach something other than what he practiced, so Gentiles can look at what he taught by word and by example and decide whether or not to become his follower.

All Christians do that, or at least believe they do

Christ set a sinless example of how to walk in obedience to the Mosaic Law, so he would have taught full obedience to it by example even if he had said nothing, and as his followers we are told to follow his example (1 Peter 2:21-22) and that those who are in Christ are obligated to walk in the same way he walked (1 John 2:6). Furthermore, he began his ministry with the Gospel message to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand (Matthew 4:17-23) and the Mosaic Law was how his audience knew what sin is, so repenting from our disobedience to it is an integral part of the Gospel message, which he prophesied would be proclaimed to all people (Matthew 24:12-14).

Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?

I had trouble getting past the first two sentences of your post. It's not what I think, it is what the Apostles commanded New Testament churches to do. You speculate that this would be a "new tradition." No, it's not.

I was not saying that this was the start of a new tradition, but I thought you were, sorry if I misunderstood you.

The sensible interpretation of this passage is that the Corinthians and Galatians were doing what ALL of the churches that Paul wrote to in the Epistles were doing: worshiping on Sunday.

Starting a new practice of doing something once a week to honor the resurrection would be starting new tradition, so it is not clear to me why you are denying that it is one. A new tradition does not require there to be any other tradition. It seems to me that the point of your post is to establish the early Christians had a tradition of meeting on Sunday for a day of worship and you are trying to use 1 Corinthians 16:1-4 as evidence to establish this.

One way that Jews traditionally kept the 7th day holy was by refraining from handling money and by collecting offerings on the 1st day, so continuing to follow that tradition after the resurrection signifies that they were continuing to keep the 7th day holy and that they were not keeping the 1st day holy. The early Christians met on every day to worship, which includes Sunday, so I agree that they worshiped on Sunday, however, the passage does not say anything about it being a day of worship, and even if it was, it would have been in addition to obeying God's command to keep the 7th day holy, not in place of it. In Mark 7:6-9, Jesus criticized the Pharisees as being hypocrites for setting aside the commands of God in order to establish their own traditions. Jesus rose on the Feast of Firstfruits as the firstfruits from the dead, so there was already a day that was rich with relevant symbolism that we can use to honor the resurrection that is in accordance with what God has commanded, so there is absolutely no need whatsoever to set aside any of God's commands in order to honor the resurrection. In Titus 2:14, Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify from himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so the way to honor the resurrection is to do good works in obedience to God's law, while it is contradictory for someone to want to honor the resurrection by returning to the lawlessness that Jesus gave himself to redeem us from.

Another problem with the question "When was the sabbath abolished?" is that is assumes that the Ten Commandments set aside a day of worship. On the contrary, the Ten Commandments and the Old Testament do not assign a day of worship. The sabbath commandment sets up a day of rest.

On it [the sabbath] you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or
daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant ...
Exodus 20:10 NIV

Six days you shall labour and do all your work,
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On
it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or
daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant ...
Deuteronomy 5:13-14 NIV

Both of the times the Old Testament lists the Ten Commandments, we see the phrase "you shall not do any work" in connection with the sabbath. The word "worship" does not appear. There is no command to worship on the sabbath, either as an individual or as a group.

The primary way to worship God is by submitting to His commands, so obeying God's command to rest on the 7th day is itself an act of worship, though the point of resting from our work is to make time to dedicate to worshiping God.

Unbelieving Jews also went to temple and kept the Sabbath.

True - we would expect that non-Christian Jews and gentiles who accepted the Word of God and worshiped the one true God of scripture - to be meeting every Sabbath in the Synagogues.

But "IF" the Christian message were in fact that if you accept Christ as the Messiah of the scripture - THEN you would stop your Sabbath keeping and start week-day-1 as the "Lord's Day" worship services instead... then gospel preaching on Sabbath would always end with this invitation to those who just accepted the gospel "hey now that you accept the Gospel - join us tomorrow for our week-day-1 now-called-Lord's-Day memorial of the resurrection of Christ in praise and worship and more gospel preaching". -- that would be the whole point of continued fellowship with like minded believers in the gospel.

Except that is debunked in Acts 18:4 where we find believing Jews AND gentiles coming together "every Sabbath" for more Gospel preaching. Nothing in the NT about "hey now that you accept the Gospel - join us tomorrow for our week-day-1 now-called-Lord's-Day memorial of the resurrection of Christ in praise and worship and more gospel preaching". Not even one such text.

The writer keeps adding the detail about coming back the next "Sabbath" for more gospel preaching - but not once "come back tomorrow" for more gospel preaching "because tomorrow is the Lord's Day for those who accept Christ as Messiah"

Nope not one text of that form to go with the "every Sabbath" and "Sabbath after Sabbath" texts about coming back for "more gospel preaching".

How "instructive" for the unbiased Bible student that the Bible writers keep emphasizing coming back for more gospel preaching "next Sabbath" and never "tomorrow".

Also note that "next Sabbath" and "every Sabbath" and "3 Sabbaths" are all using a term of honor and respect for day-7 ... it is never just day-7. But for week-day-1 it is always just ... week-day-1 in the NT, never week-day-1 the-Lord's-Day for example.

Studyman: " You and some random Jewish Commentator preach God's Sabbath was only for the Jews."

The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath
, celebrating it for
the generations to come as a lasting covenant.
It will be a sign between me and the Israelites for ever, for in
six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on
the seventh day he abstained from work and rested.’”
When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai,
he gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, the tablets of
stone inscribed by the finger of God
Exodus 31:16-19 NIV

There is no mention of gentiles or non-Jews having any obligation to observe the Sabbath.

There is mention, it's just that to show it contradicts the philosophy you are promoting here. .

Ex. 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

That seems pretty clear to me, and it is written in your own Bible. Why you wouldn't consider it is a mystery.

Is. 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

So then a question for you.

According to the Holy Scriptures, what happens to Jews and Non-Jews who refuse to take hold of God's Covenant, who refuse to keep from polluting God's Sabbaths?

In your religious philosophy, Can I trust Paul to answer this question?

Rom. 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

According to the God of the Bible, is it "Evil" to pollute God's Sabbath? Is "Polluting God's Sabbath a "Lawful" thing to do? When Jesus said it was Lawful to do "Good" on the Sabbath, is polluting the Sabbath good?

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

According to the God of the Bible, is it Good not to pollute God's Sabbath? Is it Lawful; to do Good, or Evil, on God's Sabbath?

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

It SEEMS LIKE Your entire religion if founded on the Philosophy that God treats people according to the DNA they were born with. That HE is, above all things, a Respecter of Persons. Overthrowing one man of a certain DNA for disobedience, while giving Grace to another man of different DNA for doing the exact same thing.

At some point a man who is seeking the Kingdom of God and HIS Righteousness is going to have to accept GOD's Word over the "other voice" in the garden.

Your statement "There is no mention of gentiles or non-Jews having any obligation to observe the Sabbath" is simply not Truth. Yes, it is a popular religious philosophy in the land we are born into, but as you can see, the Holy Scriptures do not support it..

But you have the Oracles of God in your own home, in your own hand. You don't need to let these other voices, who quote some of God's Words, influence you to reject God's Own Word's as this same voice convinced Eve. We are in the New Covenant now. I implore you to trust in the Oracles of God HE has so Graciously delivered into your own home..

In John Gill's commentary, he says that even non-Jews who were interested in learning about Judaism were not required to keep the Sabbath or, more surprisingly, even allowed to keep it.

<< Yea, they not only say, they were not obliged to keep the sabbath, but that it
was not lawful for them to observe it; and that it was even punishable with
death them to regard it; for so they say,
"a Gentile that keeps the sabbath before he is circumcised, is guilty of death,
because it is not commanded him.''
(Debarim Rabba) >>

Paul rebukes and corrects both of these deceivers.

Rom. 2:23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Through who Dale? Is it not through those who Claim the God of Abraham as their God, but openly preach against His Own Words?

25 For circumcision (Being a Jew) verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision (Jewness) is made uncircumcision. (Gentile)

If a Jew pollutes God's Sabbaths, or hates his brother without a cause, he is considered by God to be a Gentile, not a Child of Abraham.

26 Therefore if the uncircumcision (Gentile) keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision (Gentileness) be counted for circumcision (Children of Abraham)?

Exactly as Isaiah said. If a Non-Jew "Joins himself to the Lord" and "Keeps the Righteousness of God's Law" (including Loving your neighbor and not polluting God's sabbaths) HE will be counted by God as a Child of Abraham and heirs to the Promise.

27 And shall not uncircumcision (Gentile) which is by nature, (uncut) if it fulfil the law, (Doesn't pollute God's Sabbaths and doesn't hold a grudge against the brother) judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

And shall not the uncut who Loves God and is renewed in their mind, no longer a "Child of Disobedience", Judge the "Home born" who pollutes God's Sabbaths and refuses to join themselves to the Lord"?

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; (Jewish DNA) neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: (deny loose skin, cut it off the penis)

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly ( Do the Work's of Abraham from the heart) and circumcision is that of the heart, (Deny your old self, cut it out of your life) in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Then he [Jesus] said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not
man for the Sabbath.
So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.
Mark 2:27-28 NIV

The second of these statements is often quoted by SDA but I have never heard an SDA quote the first. "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." Jesus limits the importance of the Sabbath.

The SDA interpret the statement that Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath to mean the opposite of what it says. Jesus is clearly saying that He does not intend to be bound by all the rules that the Pharisees have either made up concerning the Sabbath, or at the least, judge too strictly.

I'm not SDA, this topic is not about SDA, so it seems irrelevant. I am replying because your words contradict the Word of God which became Flesh.

In John Gill's commentary on Mark 2:28, he says:

"Therefore the son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Meaning himself, who had a power not only to dispense with it, but to abrogate it as he
did, with the rest of the rituals of the ceremonial law."

This is his religious philosophy that you have bought into, even though you have the Oracles of God in your own home.

If you were to read it for yourself you would find why Jesus make the statement in Mark.

Lev. 23:1 And the LORD (Word of God which became flesh) spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

Of course Jesus, this same Lord who became Flesh, would say HE is Lord of the Sabbath, that HE Made for Man. He didn't create Man for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath for man.

Does your, or John Gill's unbelief in His Words make them void or of none effect? Paul said "God Forbid", that means no.

So once again I have to choose between the Word's of the Lord's Christ Himself, and John Gills.

John preaches;

"Meaning himself, who had a power not only to dispense with it, but to abrogate it as he did, with the rest of the rituals of the ceremonial law.

But Jesus Himself said;

Matt. 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

John is not only thinking what Jesus plainly said not to even think, but he is openly Preaching and working to convince others, that Jesus did what HE himself said HE didn't come to do.

John means no harm, any more than you or any more than Eve meant to harm her Husband. You have just been listening to the "other voice" and convinced of things about God and HIS Word that are just not so. A hard pill for "many" to swallow.

Yes, the Sabbath is part of the ceremonial law.

In John Gill's commentary on Matthew 12:8 we find:

"For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day."
...
...as he was the institutor of the sabbath
among the Jews, that being a ritual, and of mere positive institution, could
dispense with it, and even abrogate it at his pleasure."

Also,
"... so as he [Jesus] is Lord of all other things, he is of the sabbath, and has a power of
dispensing with it, and even of abolishing it; see Col 2:16 and since the Lord of the sabbath
had a power of dispensing with it, and made use of it in the cases of David
and his men, and of the priests in the temple formerly".

Again, the religious philosophy of John Gill VS. the instruction of the Lord's Christ Himself.

Col. 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Did Jesus let any man judge HIM in His obedience to all these things of God? Did Paul?

1 Cor. 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Dale, I truly hope you will heed the warning of the Christ and His People regarding the other voices which influence so many.

Col. 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Matt. 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.

You have the oracles of God in your own hands, and the instructions of the Christ who shed HIS Blood for you. Listen to Him.

The "other voice" also tried to influence Jesus, HE gives us the secret to overcoming the "other voice" if we would only have Faith in Him.

Matt. 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

I asked a question of you out of God's Love. Please think about it and answer it.
