Agreed, and the first step towards that goal is to admit that there is a problem.
But the real problem is getting to that first step.
As already mentioned, there is a movement today towards exactly the opposite; to say that pedophilia is a normal desire, or to deny that there is anything wrong with it, or lastly when all else fails, to say that the encounter was mutually desired on both sides.
These are all lies from satan.

But if the charges are proven true, then they won't be dropped. And it's not hard to prove charges, especially if the parents or other adults are told, and if they then follow up with the police, for the sake of the child.
The child, when questioned, will reveal things that otherwise could not be known, there will be physical and medical evidence, and trauma.
Usually in such cases there is also a history of secondary evidence to be found in the person's home surroundings, (which most likely also be searched), or in their outside contacts.
But you are right in one thing. Whatever happens, the truth will be found.

i think this is a boogy man of the Christian right. Pedophilia isn't an orientation and its not being normalized

They are trying to normalize it. It is easily found with research. There is a whole movement. I can't stand to read much of it, I read enough to know they are organized and trying to make it legal---not making this up, not exaggerating!
