well, I would say that is because it is no a forum, with moderators that allow it. Even though they have rules here and can delete and take down a post due to various reasons.. This forum is a place where you have free speech..

Other media will take down, censor, cancel ... anything that sheds light on the truth about the left.

They have become editors of a platform.. This goes beyond free speech.. it is control of what is heard by the public. It is "a few deciding for you.. what you can hear". They are thinking for you.

Read the book.. "1984"

I have read 1984. I've also seen a rather drab movie about it.

George Orwell, real name Eric Blair, was an atheist. He didn't believe in God.

He was also a socialist, but not a communist or a totalitarian socialist. Read his essay "On Socialism."

In Orwell's vision of the future, scientific and technological progress has ground to a halt, leaving society static. Whatever our problem is today, that isn't it.

Thanks for that..

I would still go with someone against abortion.. than someone outright in favor of partial birth abortions...

Now... back to what you think of the videos?

I think you are wasting your time watching Fox News. It isn't news, it's delusion.

When you watch Fox News, you'll probably spend your life having apoplectic fits over things that never happened.

One of the occasions I've seen Fox, campus police had recently sprayed demonstrators with pepper spray. A lady commentator, a Fox news employee, was trying to minimize the situation. She said that pepper spray is a food product. Yeah, sure.

Still ignoring the fact that they aren't the government and who they may or may not support has nothing to do with "infringing on peoples freedom of speech"? But I understand, people often that mistake.
Let's try this:

I've taken several portions of your post out and replaced them with (still not infringing on your freedom of speech) why? Because while you were free to post what you wanted in post #41 I chose, in my post, to not address those points. Why? It doesn't matter why. That's also what freedom of speech is, the right to ignore things people say. Now if the government came up to me and said "tulc, you have to post every single thing JacksBratt said and you aren't allowed to criticize any of it!" that would be "infringing on my freedom of speech" but suppose (just for arguments sake) CF came to me and said: "Sorry tulc, but if you're going to quote someones post, you have to quote all of it, oh, and you aren't allowed to criticize anything he says." That isn't "infringing on my freedom of speech" Why? Because it's their platform I'm using. It might be annoying and it might be reason enough for me to find some other place to post but, again, that's not someone "infringing on my freedom of speech". See the difference?
tulc(is sorry for the long post) :sorry:
Well, freedom of speech is not the removal of videos and tweets that condemn the truth of the Democrats while anti Republican speech is promoted.

A good example of "not the government" is when they put a huge "Black lives matter on a public street" and a black woman is ridiculed when she expresses her free speech to cover it with black paint.

YouTube, Facebook and twitter are not government.. you are correct.. but they are acting in ways that are restricting free speech.. only when it is condemning the left.

If you have a newspaper you are responsible for what you print.. You have editors and fact checkers..You are culpable.

If you have a huge chalkboard and tell anyone to write on it what they want.. but go in and erase anything that you don't like... That.... is censorship. That is what the algorithms of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube do.

What's kind of adorable was the pledge didn't even contain "under God" until almost 70 years after it was written this is the original:

it was written by a Christian-Socialist, and it didn't even contain the words "America" or "God". Been here?
The Secret History of the Pledge of Allegiance
So the people who didn't use the words "under God" were simply being more historicaly accurate.
tulc(is sort of delighted in the irony of hearing a President Trump supporter quote a socialist written pledge)

LOL, that's a really weak response.. even for you.

I guess we should say..that a government document that has been in existence for 70 years, was quoted without "Under God"....

While you say.. "well, it's new"..

NO... it's a blatant sign.. a brilliant red flag..

I bet that if Trump did that.. you would throw him under the bus.

A bold claim. can you back it up?
You mean that you weren't aware of the news scandal that wanted to censor Trump? It was all over the news. Zuckerberg and Twitter and others were called out for "demonetized" and censoring things that they deemed to not be seen..

I watch a lot of YouTube that speaks to things against the left.. People like L.A. Marzulli, Mark Dice, and others.. even "Cringe Panda" a young girl speaking against the lies of this world... taken down.. Like she's 14.. are you serious...

Ya... cause FOX plays uncut, unedited, real time videos of CNN saying stupid lies..

Did you see the one where Brian Stelter actually stated that there was all kinds of media companies against the left.. and went on to say that there is not one speaking out against Trump.....

Hilarious...

CNN had to pay a mega million dollar fee to the young man that was stared down by a native beating a drum..

They painted the poor kid as a threat...

When the real story came out.. He was an innocent student, the video was a setup.. and CNN had to pay millions of dollars to him.

so if someone came to your house with a can of black paint and threw it all over your car they would just be exercising their free speech and you would be good with that?

Ohhhh...sounds like I pointed out something you were unaware of. And instead of admitting you didn't know it you decided to try the "bluster response" instead.

I guess we should say..that a government document that has been in existence for 70 years, was quoted without "Under God"....
No, more like "a pledge that was almost 128 years old was was quoted without "under God". (which means "under God" has only been in the pledge for 68 years, so less than half of it's existence)

While you say.. "well, it's new"..

NO... it's a blatant sign.. a brilliant red flag..
A sign that some people in a political party are capable of not being in lockstep with other parts of the party? Oh yeah, I guess to a conservative that would be kind of a "red flag".

I bet that if Trump did that.. you would throw him under the bus.
What I'd be shocked by is if he managed to pronounce "indivisible" right.
tulc(knows how long words tend to...confuse, the "stable genius")

What is happening to the USA?

There are some historians who compare the nation's internal struggles and loss of confidence in its ability to confront crises, as demonstrated the Pandemic, with that of the 1850's which preceded the American Civil War!

In addition to these political and economic fissures, the current "visible minorities" in America (Blacks, Hispanics, Orientals) are projected to constitute the new
majority by 2050 - challenging the sense of "entitlement" by the former "White" majority who have held power for the last 4 centuries!

Historically, the Trump Administration may represent the literal last "hurrah" for American conservatives, given that the majority of visible minorities vote for the Democrats - what remains to be seen are the lengths, as demonstrated by this President, "White" Americans are willing to go to forestall the inevitable!

So do you not have faith that people can diversify and begin to see valid arguments from others sides and therefore change their political affiliations? Or do you believe that it appears Biden does that blacks are owned by the Democrats? Isn't that what he said to a black man....If you don't vote for me you're not black?

Given that the nation's racial groups are smart enough to discern as to which of the political parties best represents their interests, when over 90% of "Black" Americans consistently vote Democratic Republicans should be asking themselves the hard questions as to why the Party of Lincoln has lost its appeal?

My point is you have no guarantee proof that any particular group won't or can't change their political affiliations.
