Back then, America considered the Bible to be the arbitor of morality. Today, you're considered immoral if you fail to agree with the far-left.
So...you are saying the people of today are to be judged because they don't live by what 18th century people thought was right and wrong?

This includes agreeing with their idea that America is inherently evil.
But, isn't every system/government made by man inherently evil? Isn't that what the Bible teaches? And, let's be honest here; a simple, fair and unbiased observation of the facts (not the propaganda some of us tell ourselves to make our history more..."palatable") American history isn't going to show that view to be wrong.

genocide, mass killings, misogamy, racism, lynchings, I don't think America in the 18th century is really a model of morality

or that gays are people....oh wait the right calls you evil if you think that
This isn't a problem with the standard, but with the a failure to apply the standard. The reason this country had improved was through reforming her application, not by changing the standard.
You would be hard pressed to convince the countless gays that are moving to right that the right does not consider them to be people. #walkaway

I am saying it's ok to be a white heterosexual male because God says it's ok.
Also, He tells us to submit to government because they are established by Him for our good. Even if He were to follow through with the deconstruction of our current democracy and replaces it with a superpower, we still have a responsibility to submit for our own good.

...they "improved" because they pretty much killed everyone that disagreed with them. Kind of hard to dispute who owns what land if you've wiped out almost all of the original owners. Don't like the governments of the countries around you? Invade them, kill the leaders, install people more to your liking and move on ot the next one in need of a demostration of what "American exceptionalism" looks like.

Link? I think we'd all be interested in seeing how many "countless" looks like.

And that, to you, is what 18th century morals looks like? White heterosexual males? So, really you have no idea what the Bible (in which there wasn't actually even anyone most people today would even consider white until the New Testament, and even then there was some doubt they could even be Christians) or what 18th century morals were. And outside of paying lip service to the Bible they had no use for what it actually said if it conflicted with what they wanted to do.

Also, He tells us to submit to government because they are established by Him for our good.
...unless your 18th century morals tell you you don't have too because if I'm not mistaken the same people you're saying we should be like are the ones who just rebelled against the government you said God had put over them. Had a war and everything.

Even if He were to follow through with the deconstruction of our current democracy and replaces it with a superpower, we still have a responsibility to submit for our own good.
I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say here.

Our country is being promoted to become more Marxist by people who say that being a white heterosexual male is bad.
Gay friends are telling me that many are even supporting President Trump. I just put a random search and this popped up: https://gaysfortrump.org/

Interesting, could you provide say...15 links of various groups who say that exact thing? "Being a white heterosexual male is bad." Not blogs mind you, not people saying "I heard someone who said something I think meant white male heterosexuals are bad!". Actual people actually saying that. 20 links would be better but 15 would make a nice start.

...hey look they had a "gays for Trump rally, let's see how many countless numbers were...I'm curious: when did "a couple dozen" become "countless'?
found here:
The Gays For Trump rally in DC went about like you’d expect
According to the Washington Blade, approximately 100 people showed up to witness the gathering at the Lincoln Memorial, but only a couple dozen actually marched to the White House in support of the president.
tulc(will look forward to those links)

this June the Supreme Court had to rule that you can't be fired from your job just because you were a member of a minority. No one should be subjected to that sort of discrimination but people were. It was conservative Christians that were saying that yes, they had the right to fire someone just because they were a minority.

I missed the Christians calling for firing someone based on the color of their skin. There had to be more to the story. Can you tell me what case it was? I find that very interesting.

A minority is a culturally, ethnically, religious or racially distinct group that has a shared sense of collective identity and community that coexists with but is subordinate to a more dominant group with socially shared rules about who belongs and who does not.

Minorities come in many forms skin color being only one.

and you don't have to look very hard to find examples of racial employment discrimination.

And the case the court just ruled on is Bostock v. Clayton County

I have no problem with firing someone based on what God tells us is wrong. We shouldn't surround ourselves with bad people and we shouldn't let sin thrive in our businesses.

Kind of tired of people acting like this country was at any point innocent. Its stolen land from native americans. Minorities have never been treated equally. The leaders allowed slavery and allowed blacks to be treated like they werent even human

Make America great Again? America has never been great for everyone. Even white evangelical Christians turn a blind eye to this. Im just so tired of it all *signs off for a few hours*

...so you're okay with people being fired for a son disobeying his parents or doing yard work on Saturday? Both of which were capital offenses in the Bible. Or how about wearing mixed fabrics, which was also forbidden in the Bible, just not a capital offense. Eating lobster, pork and cheese burgers were also considered sins. Oddly enough, not obeying a courts decision was also a capital offense.
tulc(is just wondering where the line for "not surrounding ourselves with bad people" is drawn?)

Maybe the issues is that 240 years later minorities still have to fight tooth and nail for the rights and legal protections supposedly granted by the constitution. And by and large the people they have to fight are the moral and religious people.
What rights are any minorities denied in this country? I'll wait...

Yes, that's why minorities constantly sneak into this country... because we are a horrible, terrible, no good country to live in.
By the way if you don't like it here, you know what to do..
