Hey sorry for this, I know it hurts. This same thing happened to me, only it was my Christian wife of 9 years and mother of my two young kiddos. She walked away from God completely, cheated, left me and now I get to be grateful that she texts me “you can do your stupid little Christian stuff with the boys but don’t you ever try to tell them the bigotry about LGBTQ being wrong or any of that “stuff”.”
it’s like a demon or alien went into my best friend overnight, killed her, and now walks around with her skin on like a summer dress. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to lose a close person you love when they walk away from Jesus and still have to see their bodies walking around from time to time. All I can say is Jesus will give you peace and joy in any suffering, if you seek it with all your heart.
I made this list last year during my divorce, it’s like a prescription for joy, can’t get through without having it back
maybe it will do that for you as well.

1 Peter 1:6-9
6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfector of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
