Heb 6:
4For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.
What have they fallen from and to?

GOD CREATED EVERYONE
You can have a father and not be fathered by Him....obey
"But as many as received Him,
to them He gave the right to become children of God,
to those who believe in His name:
who were born,
  • not of blood,
  • nor of the will of the flesh,
  • nor of the will of man, but
  • of God." John 1:12-13 NKJV
Of those who are not [yet] "born of God," Jesus said,
"You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it." John 8:44 NKJV

Well I see two possible interpretations and there may be more.

First it may be speaking of folks that have 'tasted' but never been fully saved.

Second it may be rhetorical and simply confirming that the whole notion of the saved being saved again is absurd and insults the absolute power of the Blood of Jesus.

You are wrong .....the blood cleanses when you walk in the Spirit...yes or no?

Yes

Those who tasted could be those who were once under the Law....but brought to the light.
And by falling away....is to go back to the Law for the source of salvation.

Now we know Jesus cannot die again...be- cause scripture says somewhere in Hebrew He died once and for all.

But if they go back to what yielded them [thorns] and is ready to pass away ...at least for those who enter into the body of Christ....

Then there is no more repentance left under the Law...no animals to do what has already been fullfilled by Christ.

Therefore they cannot be renewed under the law......
He is teaching them why they should move forward in the faith..

This has nothing to do with...those who reside in Christ...
That is why it says..."even though we speak like this....better things concerning you"

The reason you are wrong, is because you do not understand that saved means deliverence from present sin....And that heaven when one dies us like a byproduct of eternal life, the quality of life now....recall He came that we may have life and have it more abundantly....but do we have to wait until we die...is that what He's saying when He preached His kingdom was at Hand...The gospel of the kingdom?

You wrote,
GOD CREATED EVERYONE
You can have a father and not be fathered by Him....obey
You seemed to imply that sonship/daughtership was a consequence of God being our Creator. The two verses from John challenged that assertion.

Excuse me ??? What exactly am I wrong about?

You may surprise yourself by discovering we agree.

Lets keep it cool and not jump to conclusions...

Your last sentence I fully agree with...

OK - my take is that nothing can seperate the born again from the Love of God.

This is because the Blood of Jesus has 'spoken' for them. There is no power in existence greater than the power of His blood.

However the degree to which they enjoy the blessings of the kingdom in this life depends on obedience to His Spirit and this also determines their eternal reward.

Eternal life begins at the point of being born again.

Can we agree on this?

Now, why I do not agree with this:

Second it may be rhetorical and simply confirming that the whole notion of the saved being saved again is absurd and insults the absolute power of the Blood of Jesus."

Because if saved means delivered from present circumstances...as it usually does.

We must check out what it took for God to deliver....and it was always obedience.

Now once His chosen people turned to idols
Were they in a saved state? No but if they repented and turn to Him they were.

And as Asa...who got rid of Idols among His people and they followed God's commands...it was quiet for many years with God....as opposed to under his father rule.

People were saved [delivered] more than once.

So all I am saying is the way in which words are used has confused many.

Salvation could be used as a noun or verb...
You can be given salvation...an answer to something that will save you....But it doesn't mean it will be used so that we can be saved by it.

No problem - sometimes our Zeal gets a bit overboiled - it happens to the best of us...

The patience of the Lord is our Salvation - just as well !!!

Yes and our deliverance is on the basis of His obedience and on that basis He transfers us from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of His Son.

Where is the Love of God?

This is because the Blood of Jesus has 'spoken' for them. There is no power in existence greater than the power of His blood.
What do you mean the blood has spoken...
We are cleanse in accordance with walking after the Spirit....that is how the blood is applied for this life.

However the degree to which they enjoy the blessings of the kingdom in this life depends on obedience to His Spirit and this also determines their eternal reward.
Obedience is a part of Salvation...remember they had to obey Moses's voice.

Remember How they had to look at the snake to live.

Remember How they had to walk around the walls for it to come down..

Eternal life begins at the point of being born again.

Since the definition of eternal life is to know God and Jesus who He has sent. And know in the Bible means intimate relationship. THEN WE SOMETIMES COME TO KNOW HIM BY DOING WHAT HE LIKE, OR WHAT IS HIS WILL...OBEDIENCE

FIRST TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP.....I MUST FIRST BE RECONCILED.....THEN LEARN HOW TO BE A DISCIPLE.....RECALL HOW HE TELLS THEM TO MAKE DISCIPLES. EMERSE...THEM IN THE PRESENCE OF THE TRINITY....TEACHING THEM TO DO all that I commanded you.....

Can we agree on this?

Yes and our deliverance is on the basis of His obedience and on that basis He transfers us from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of His Son.
Transfering us is regeneration....when He transferred us, He delivered us from the darkness.

Not directly his obedience, but subsequently, but that you have faith in who He proved to be and ready to act on it, if you can, that He is the son of God the creator of all things, He is as Peter said the Son of the Living God.

Remaining in the vine....is to me, is to take your substance from it....

What does passing from death to life have to do with being born from above?

And once born, should you feel God's presence everyday until death

>Feelings<Are emotions, they come and go with circumstances, are subject to the flesh, inconsistent, and not trustworthy.

David said “return to me the joy of my salvation.” Something can’t be returned if it hasn’t been lost.

The scriptures do tell is that if we seek him with all of our hearts we will find him, however it doesn’t give a timeline or say that will happen every day. There are difficult times when God feels far
Away, it is in those times that true faith is proven, through the fires of adversity. It’s easy to love Jesus when you have a nice Christian spouse, healthy Christian kids and a big Christian house. When some of that goes away or you never get it; that is when your faith is tested:)
