I agree. He's trying to condemn a store owner for an alcoholic's choice to keep drinking. He keeps showing he doesn't know much about addictions or how they come to fruition.

Far more than that, he's condemning all who drink alcohol.

I will not condemn the liquor store owner. Jesus will do that. Jesus says that people can lead others into other kinds of sins.

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea." (Matthew 18:6).

We know drunkenness is a grievous sin that will cause a person to not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:10 says,
"Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

There is a woe unto the neighbor who gives their neighbor strong drink.

"Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also,..." (Habakkuk 2:15).

YOU assume Jesus will condemn the store owner and you do so without a bit of evidence. Your knee jerk replies are comical.

Its God who chooses who is saved not the will of man.

hmm and yet the OT says a little (Fermented) wine is good as a medicine for the stomach.

The fine wine will be flowing at the Great Banquet, so God Himself doesn't live up to BH's standards.

I used to be an Abstentionist. Now, I am not so convinced that position is 100% true. Maybe there is a 1% chance that Abstentionism may be true, but it seems unlikely. God wants us to obey Him as a part of life. While I believe that a believer can use alcohol in instances to relieve pain (like a leg that is caught in a bear trap), or to use a little wine in one's water for the infirmity for their stomach, strong alcohol was not intended to be used for social reasons. That was never it's intent in the Bible. There are three kinds of wine in the Bible.

1. Unfermented wine (Grape juice) (The wine that Jesus made).
2. Wine mixed with water (diluted to a point whereby it would make it harder to get drunk) (Note: This was the Israelite wine that was consumed).
3. Strong alcoholic fermented wine (Barbarians or Gentiles drank this kind of wine; In fact, they still do so today; For there is nothing new under the sun).

Let's agree to disagree. I don't think what I will say with Scripture will convince you. May God bless you today.

But the question is "FINE WINE" of Isaiah 25:6. If you look at the interlinear it appears the wine is fermented. Isaiah 25:6 Interlinear: And made hath Jehovah of Hosts, For all the peoples in this mount, A banquet of fat things, a banquet of preserved things, Fat things full of marrow, preserved things refined.

these preserved things refined is talking about the fermenting process. aka well-refined wines on the lees.

I have argued this topic to death before. There is nothing to benefit in arguing this topic again. Please check out my other threads. I have already debated this issue for hundreds of pages back and forth on many forums. Not going to learn anything new here that I have not heard so far already.

Anyways, I am moving on.
May God bless you all.

My encouragement is for all here to pray about it, and to seek the Scriptures. I believe the worst position a person can have is to think that there is nothing wrong with something God clearly condemns.

*You* condemn consumption of alcohol. *God* does not, and to add to His word is such a manner puts you in grave danger. That's the irony here.
