If you say so.Hypocrite or not, he was whining in a MAJOR way, on the world stage. Greta's hypocrisy, relative to your and my consumption, is beyond a moot point.
So hypocrisy is in the eye of the person looking for it, in this case.
Science and data is apolitical. She implores us to listen to science and data, she's not telling us to support any particular party. If there is a party that listens responds to the science, she would recommend we listen to them but, as she says, I don't htink she has supported any particular party. She claims she is not political.
Greta Thunberg on Twitter
All she did was complain about something that no one is going to do anything to change.
Is this what get's you fame these days? Not inventing a creative solution, not living out the change you want?
This is what's worthy of being a person of the year in Time's book?
Yes. That’s why I pointed it out when people keep railing on about her politics. But going through her Twitter, I think she is more political than she cares to admit.
Parroting the MSM and the main themes of the Left while being a girl, a child, cute, and autistic(?) are all it takes to become a media darling.
Being a conservative, a white adult man, an American and a Christian won't get your picture on the cover of Time Magazine, but will instead get you attacked by the MSM. At least you'll be noticed though.
Person of the year? Is that what someone who claims that their future has been destroyed becomes? She's known world-wide, she's "Person of the Year", and will no doubt enter adulthood as a multi-millionaire and probably even go on to do plenty more, such as run for political office and get even richer and become part of society she's known for railing against.
But sure! "How dare you! You have stolen my childhood and my dreams."
At least her adult life will be better, even if she isn't rubbing elbows with the rich and famous and getting world-wide attention as a child anymore.
Why does the opinion of Time Magazine get so many people upset?
There's no creative solution to invent. The solution has already been figured out, it just isn't being implemented. All she did was complain about something that no one is going to do anything to change.

Not upset. Just proven to be correct.
Which box does the person of the year 2016 not tick?Parroting the MSM and the main themes of the Left while being a girl, a child, cute, and autistic(?) are all it takes to become a media darling.
