Going a bit off-topic here. Election betting is illegal through US gaming businesses. But it's available online through off-shore betting sites. The last time I checked, about a week ago, The moneyline on Donald Trump was at -110. Which means if you wager $100 that he wins, you get back $110 if he does. Harris and Joe Biden had the best odds among the Democrats at about +700. If you bet $100 on either of them, you get $700 if that person is elected. All of which says that as of now, the bookmakers believe Donald Trump is more likely to win. But the odds are a lot closer if you wager by party. If you bet a Republican wins, the line is the same -110. But the line for a Democrat to win is -120. Those are pretty close odds.

It's still very, very early. The odds will change many times in next 15 months.
I've said it once before: we are living in very interesting times, where the bookmakers are more reliable than the poll makers.

LOL, most of that is simply hyperbole used to make a point. It's amazing how sensitive people are that they misunderstand hyperbole as actual "promises to move out of the country" or whatever. From the article:
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg joked in an interview with The New York Times in July that it’d be time to move to New Zealand if Trump were to win.
Former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart said he would consider “getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone bonkers” if the real estate mogul wins.
Hispanic comedian George Lopez said Trump “won’t have to worry about immigration” if he takes the White House because “we’ll all go back.”

Jokes about moving or getting a rocket to go to another planet are just that, jokes. They're making a point. It's called "hyperbole". It's like saying "I'm dying for a glass of water" or "if I had to wait another minute on that line I would have died!"

I guess people are so sensitive these days you can't even joke around, even a comedian like Jon Stewart can't make a joke without people thinking he's going to literally buy a rocket and fly to another planet, LOL

According to the Bible (and to many conservatives when there's a Republican President), God ordains our leaders. So, it was a bit perplexing to hear some of the Republican candidates insist that God told them to run for the presidency. I also found an older thread on CF when I googled the topic, btw.
The Bible does say that God is in control of rulers. I don't think it means He directly puts them there but He permits and uses those who become rulers. It goes along with His model of earthly government wherein law enforcement is handled by earthly government but is used by Him to administer His Justice onto people.

And with all of that, the Bible is clear in context that despite God's control there is an element of imperfect humanity involved so rulers and law enforcement CAN be corrupt and do what's wrong. But overall, God controls rulers and law enforcement to do His work in governing the earth.

The Republicans of course only use this to bolster their leaders and they conveniently ignore this when Obama or Clinton or another undesired leader is elected. They cherry pick what suits them at the moment.

Then there are these:

Bryan Cranston said he hopes he doesn't have to pack his bags, but would "definitely move" if Trump won. "Absolutely, I would definitely move," the "Breaking Bad" star said on "The Bestseller Experiment" podcast. "It's not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won't."

Samuel L. Jackson slammed Trump for running a "hate"-filled campaign and said he would move to South Africa if he wins. "If that (profanity deleted) becomes president, I'm moving my black (profanity deleted). to South Africa," the movie star quipped to Jimmy Kimmel.

Lena Dunham told Andy Cohen at the Matrix Awards that "I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will. I know a lovely place in Vancouver." The star and creator of HBO's "Girls" has been a vocal advocate for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee.

Miley Cyrus wrote in an emotional Instagram post in March that tears were running down her cheek and she was unbelievably scared and sad. "I am moving if he is president," the young pop star said. "I don't say things I don't mean!"

Barbara Streisand, a vocal Clinton supporter, told "60 Minutes" that "I'm either coming to your country if you'll let me in, or Canada."

And there are a number of others

So, yes more than one and a number of notables.

FWIW, I’m sure that I stated when Trump and Hilary were running, that sometimes God puts leaders into power for judgement.
God must be really really angry at us, then.

I liked Spike Lee's best: he's going to leave the country and move to Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is a happening place! Can you imagine how much better it would be without the repressive taxes!

God must be really really angry at us, then.
He hates murdered babies.

He gave us Obama first. That didn’t work.

A couple people with some celebrity said it but it wasn't a lot or even a handful. That's why you wouldn't be able to cite even a handful. It was basically Rosie O'Donnell and maybe one other person.
So where does Rosie O'Donnell live now?

Simple question. Just curious of your thoughts.
Same thing I did when he won before....keep buying freeze dried food in bulk.

It didn't make sense then to toss the people out of the country who make our food and it doesn't make sense now.

Everyone who really really wants to work at a chicken production plant raise their hands.

Well, I would admit to a surprise and that I was wrong in my prediction. However, I almost always vote Third Party for President, so I do not care all that much one way or the other. The two major political parties have shown me for decades that they do not deserve my vote. I vote either for the Green Party or the Libertarian Party.
