There is something written about for two people to walk together they have to be like minded. Of course our thoughts are not His thoughts, but understanding His perspective helps us stay closer to Him. I was walking and talking with Him this morning and He wanted me to bring this up.

The scriptures are clear that the heavens and the earth are His. He made them, they are His, and so He is not just the God of Israel, but all things. Not everyone sits at His feet and listen to him, so all things are still being placed at His feet, but none of that changes the fact that heaven and earth are His.

He once told me, "Karl, always remember that the whole earth is mine; the whole earth, the whole heaven, the whole everything, but especially the whole earth." You can see the mistake we people make when Joshua (Jos 5:13,14) Asks, "Are you for us or for our adversaries?" only to be told "No;..." Joshua did not understand that God is God of the whole world. Yes, God was going to give Jericho into the hands of Israel, but it wasn't that He was for Israel and against Jericho because He was God of the whole world.

The point the Lord was making with me this morning was that we sometimes get mad and angry about different groups in this world, but we need to remember that they too were made by Him. He might give them into the hands of someone. He might remove them from this world. He might deliver them to hell, but that is not a reason for hate them, to celebrate over their demise, or whatever else we might do when we fail to remember the whole earth belongs to Him.

Understanding this will help you get into a deeper fellowship with the Lord, because it helps you walk and talk with Him if you know His perspective.

Two words that could change the world.

Are you a universalist, where you believe all things will eventually be reconciled to Christ, including unbelievers & the evil spirits & Satan?

"You can see the mistake we people make when Joshua (Jos 5:13,14) Asks, "Are you for us or for our adversaries?" only to be told "No;..." Joshua did not understand that God is God of the whole world. Yes, God was going to give Jericho into the hands of Israel, but it wasn't that He was for Israel and against Jericho because He was God of the whole world."

You didn't complete the contexts of the verses above & in my understanding, gave several faulty interpretations. He WAS for Israel & He was AGAINST Jericho.

He wasn't a part of Israel's physical army & He wasn't a part of Jericho's physical army. He was the Commander of the hosts of heaven, the armies of God in the heavenlies. It wasn't the issue of God being the God of the whole world; it was the Lord Jesus Christ Himself as the Commander of all God's armies IN THE HEAVENS, NOT the earth.

You seem to be ignorant (simply means you don't know) of or are not recognizing that God chose Israel above all nations of the earth & made them His people & He is their God & gave His Law to them, not the other nations. They were the apple of His eye. That is repeated many times in Scripture. So He was for them.

Second, God had promised in the Abrahamic covenant that the Promised Land would be Isreal's forever & that they would remove the nations in that land once their sins were full measure. That took 430 years. Joshua was chosen by God to lead Israel to conquer all the Promised Land & remove the inhabitants & the land would be set out for the 12 tribes of Israel.

So God was against those nations in the Promised Land, because of the fullness of & nature of their sins, being an abomination to Him, such as burning their children alive to idols.

Only Rahab & her family were spared, the rest were put to death, because she believed what God has said would happen. She was saved because of her faith in the one true God, the rest perished because of their unbelief.

Joshua 3:7-10 And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee. 8And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan. 9And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God. 10And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God IS AMONG YOU & that He will WITHOUT FAIL DRIVE OUT from before you the Canaanites & the Hittites & the Hivites & the Perizzites & the Girgashites & the Amorites & the Jebusites.
