Not exactly the epitomy of Our Lord Yeshua.

Further more, consider the tree(oak that they feed upon. Abstain from blood is What I hear in the Spirit.
The oak is firstly an example of cruelty that befell a certain nation that was deceived.
Ya'akov left a reminder of such. And So to did The Lord when avshalom received his punishment for mercilessly, and decietfully conceited to rebellion.

Personally, I would never consider my Lord Yeshua to be such an insect.
Humble yes, parasitic no. Never.

As for the red dye used.
There is many a tradition in the Talmud that explains there is no such knowledge of its source.
And for good reason in my humble opinion.

I've fellowshipped with viz for a few yrs now and have learned that she will share or distribute what she finds to help inform.

So from what I've shared and what is currently available concerning entomology.
Ask yourself if either a worm, or grub lays eggs?

Yes, I do recall, I don’t need my toes. And I recall more than 10 commands. I fully understand the fulfillment of the Law is required; we have to be absolutely perfect in all these things to be saved by the Law. It isn't that we all fall short of the mark. It is that we see that His Law is eternal, perfect and can be walked as He is our example. We do not expect our babies to walk perfectly, so neither does our Heavenly Father. What He does expect is for us to acknowledge that He is right and we follow with the help of the Holy Spirit. We can not do it in our own strength.

“For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the Righteousness of God” 2 Corinthians 5:21

This is imputed Righteousness, not of ourselves. His Perfection.

It is very clearly stated what the Will of God is, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Giving thanks done for something that is received.

If anyone is able to achieve perfection and righteousness of their own accord, with a little help from the Lord, that’s great, but I personally am utterly helpless and hopeless without Him, the Divine Exchange. I wandered in the wilderness for more than 40 years saying I will do all that You command, thinking by that I was doing the right thing, unaware of what I was actually doing was trying to achieve my own righteousness, which is impossible, until finally I came to an end to myself, I repented and entered into His Promise… Rest. He has a better Covenant for us, one of Great Love.

His Love and Rest changes hearts. Law cannot do that. The Crimson Worm… the Love of our Lord moves me to repentance; I want to serve and have a relationship with Love Himself, the Law left me in hopelessness and despair. I’ve seen grown me cry reading about the Crimson Worm, the Love of Jesus Christ.
