Only the rw extremists said the men in the legislature onlyv oted for it.

Who said no women voted for it?

Only men in the Senate voted for it. That fact has been reported all over the news.

That is the reason you have to read the complete article as I did.
As did I.
I would say that it is a story of men and a few women acting to oppress women. The women in the House who supported this should be ashamed of themselves.
That is your view. The Supreme Court will have their say.

How can you say a fetus is not a living human being when he or she has a unique set of DNA apart from any other human, functioning organs, and a beating heart?
Because you do not make the law or the scintific standards.

that is because they didn't take the time to get their facts straight as I did.
Good for you. The desired narrative is that this is men oppressing women, and thus a terrible evil. There are lots of ways to play that, most of them evident in this very thread.

Men had it right for a time.

The majority opinion was written by Justice Harry Blackmun, a white man. He was joined by five other white men on the court, including Chief Justice Warren Burger and Justices William Douglas, William Brennan, Potter Stewart, and Lewis Powell. The only minority justice at the time, Thurgood Marshall, who was the first African American to sit on the court, also joined the majority opinion that has since resulted in the abortion of approximately 19 million black children.

If you think it's terrible that men voted on the Alabama abortion law, wait until you hear who decided Roe
