Life through the eyes of another
I read comics when I was a boy and TV show’s and moves ever since. I have found myself playing the part of one of the characters and looking at life through their eyes. These experiences have helped me understand life from points of view I had never considered before. Since my memory at my old age is so poor I can watch these shows again and experience the life of another character as if I was that person too.

Have you ever watched an episode of fiction and played the part of one of these characters too or the experience changed you in some way or another?

I've spoken to people who have told me they imagine themselves to be the characters in movies and television shows. I don't experience it that way, I am experiencing the movie as it is being presented. I understand fits of fantasy, for sure.

What has changed me more than anything was learning there is a God, and giving my life to His Son Jesus. God made me into a new person with new desires through His Spirit and that has utterly changed me.

Hahaha. Yes, I know a sweet Christian lady who realized she was getting too involved in the Soap Operas, when she found herself "praying for that poor girl".

I don't, but the way some people around me act I suspect they are doing it unconsciously. I drives me crazy, because in real life things don't have to be as dramatic as they are in movies. So simple matters get blown all out of proportion as people respond the way people in the movies do.

For myself, I'm happy living in the real world.

I do that a lot with the real persons that I am interacting with.
